2017 Allez E5

If you're just finding your cycling legs, this is the best place to start. The Allez E5's premium alloy frame is built for versatility, combining sturdy, confident handling with the rocket-like feeling of a race bike. And for durability, it includes a FACT carbon fork and reliable Claris shifting. It's constructed from our lightweight and ultra-stiff E5 Premium aluminium to ensure that you get those most out of every watt that your legs can produce. More so, this construction makes for a bike that's equally capable for the road ahead, so you'll find it performing exceptionally on climbs, descents, and all-out sprints. Even better, these characteristics are all amplified by the Elite's exquisite & confident geometry and FACT carbon fibre fork. For the build, we went with a no-nonsense approach, opting for reliable Shimano Claris shifting, durable Axis sport alloy wheels, and brilliant Espoir Sport tyres.

My First Ever Road Bike - Solid First Impression

After about a year of usage, I’m ready to give my verdict on this bike, and in short, i can definitely say it has been a great bike to start with for road bikes. As this being my first time in purchasing a road bike (using mountain and hybrid bikes prior to this), I wanted to get something perfect for an entry-level rider, something that would give me the speed, but have the opportunity to keep growing in the sport and down the road possibly upgrade from there. This definitely fit the category perfectly! If you can still find this bike on the market, you’ll appreciate the value that comes out of this bike each and every time you ride it. Also keep in mind that upgrades like pedals are truly doable ;)
