Roval Terra CLX EVO Wheelset

I have ridden these wheels for all my gravel rides, including 3 Unbound 200s with zero issues. The extra width allows for more tire volume in a given size and lets me really reduce the air pressure needed. I get an extra 5mm or more of measured width over advertised tire size. I’ve been running these with mtb inserts lately for even lower pressure and rim protection at events like Unbound and Big Sugar.

My Rovals (700c] are just over 2 yrs old with 3,000 miles. Had been really happy with them until my rear wheel collapsed in 2 different places on my last ride. If I'm going spend $2500 on a set of wheels I would expect them to last longer than this.

I ordered a pair of the 650B and what they say is true. You can ride them anywhere you damn well please. It is a fast rolling quiet feel on gravel and the wider rim gives the tire a shape that maximizes tread contact for sure grip in loose road conditions. Descending on these wheels is a dream...very comfortable handling and FAST!!

I use these and a set of CLX32 / 650b's on my Diverge - these wheels get most of the workload. They are very well made, tires mount easily (Pathfinder, Trigger) and stay sealed well (tubeless). Haven't had them long enough in order to gauge whether they will be durable over the long haul, based on past Roval products I suspect that they'll be fine. My only criticism is the cost but then - nobody forced me to buy them, so...
