From the start, I was pretty excited when this model was released with its classic lines, round tubes, ample tire clearance and the ability to use mechanical cable shifting. I built up my Aethos in 2021 when the world had gone crazy and had to wait about three months for the abalone white colorway to finally arrive in stock. I'm running full SRAM Red, ENVE cockpit and ENVE 4.5AR wheels that are wrapped with ENVE 29c tires. The smoothness and comfort of the frame is unparalleled for long days in the saddle. Even with some pretty heavy wheels, it climbs exceptionally well. To say this bike rides like a dream is an understatement. I can only imagine this is how a magical genie feels riding a magical carpet.
