S-Works Turbo TLR Race Tire

Admittedly this is only my second time trying tubeless, and I've been riding them for only 3 months so not much to say about durability yet. But the grip, speed and comfort on these are the best I have felt in my 16 years as a cyclist. Needless to say they have not yet punctured.

I really like these, coming from GP5000's these roll very well and come close in terms of RR. I find them more supple and they have better turn in bite giving me real confidence to corner faster. Wet weather performance is also on par with GP5K. No punctures after 500km so I can't really talk to that point but as a winter training tyre, they're light, fast and supple and I don't have a bad thing to say about them. They also seem to be wearing really well so I think I'll get more kms out of these than the Conti's. I'm sure you could use them as a racing tyre, personally they're my current choice as my winter and training tyre option.

Take my review with a grain of salt. The last tire I was running was the S-works Mondo (tubeless) in size 700x32, which I LOVED. I decided on the Turbo TLRs (Tan) in size 700x30. The tires were difficult to mount (soapy water helpful), but once on, these puppies roll extremely smooth (running them tubeless around 58psi), and I feel like I am saving 10-20 watts compared to the Mondos, so speed feels effortless. I even took the new Turbos TLRs on some light duty gravel connector roads and they handled the rough stuff with no problems, as well as rolling through some car crash debris, again, no problems. And let me tell you about aesthetics, the new tan color is very bright and really pop, style points are out the roof. Based on the hand feel of the unmounted tire, they seem tough, like they will be able to handle some sh*t. I’ll post another review if I run into problems, but for now, get them while they are available!
