The Power Expert saddle features a stiff, carbon-reinforced shell with durable titanium…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
The Power Expert saddle features a stiff, carbon-reinforced shell with durable titanium rails to keep the weight down. Its Body Geometry design, meanwhile, caters to both men and women and helps to deliver superior performance in all seating positions—especially aggressive ones. Proven through blood flow testing and pressure mapping, and featuring our medium-grade Level Two PU padding, the extra wide and elongated Body Geometry channel and proper sit bone support provides all-day comfort.

As I expected from previous experience with Specialized saddles, really very good. It works how it’s supposed to, with the geometry working well for me whilst riding.
Great ergonomic fit and comfortable for long days in the saddle!
Perfect! No more pain even after a 65km ride!
Great saddle
Having medical issues the shorter “Power” saddle is much more confortable
This saddle looks amazing, and feels great. Who knew a well fit saddle could make such a difference. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
The seat is more comfortable than the phenom despite the fact that the level of padding is supposedly lower in the power model, being more compact it is easier to be in position, as well as the hole it has avoids cutting off blood circulation more efficiently. for the price it's pretty good
Excellent saddle, right length, great support. One forgets it`s there. I first tried it on my Specialized Aethos, I liked it so much I bought one for my Trek Top Fuel 9.8.
This saddle improved my comfort much more than I expected. Wish it was offered in more colors.
Great saddle. Extremely comfortable. Have one on each bike now !
This came stock on my Epic. I like it so much I bought another for my gravel bike. Shorter nose makes it easier to stand & sit, and still has enough room to move around on the saddle on longer rides when I mostly want to stay in the saddle.
My third power saddle. Got the ti rail version and carbon rails
This seat made a tremendous difference in my ability to enjoy longer rides, even on consecutive days!
Getting the right size seat makes a drastic difference in your comfort while riding.
The power saddle had made riding long distances more fun. I even bought one for a second bike. I've been able to go 100mi+ where with other saddles I'd be in discomfort after 50 miles. This thing is so good.
This was a replacement for Power Sport that had developed annoying creak (18 months 7000km). The Power Expert is just as comfortable and easy to adjust and no creak yet.
Minimalist but very comfortable. I really like this saddle.
This seat changed my ride completely for the better. More power and comfort. I never write reviews but I’m biking across Switzerland and this seat literally saved my tail and is by far the best seat I’ve ever experienced.
Great saddle. Lightweight and very comfortable.
I’ve always stuck with the saddle my bike came with and thought that being in pain during longer rides and after rides was part of the process however following a seat bone assessment I found out I’d been riding saddles that were too narrow for me and purchased this, backed by a 30 day guarantee. One ride in and this saddle is not going back to the store! The first pain free ride I’ve ever gone on and now intend to put it on all my bikes! Comfortable enough for longer endurance rides or for being down in the drops and going for it. Totally changed the game for me!
Big red S just makes quality gear and this saddle is no exception. It works for me but they’ve got something for all booties and bodies … I pulled my creaky Ergon off and popped this on and love it. I wondered if I’d miss the long nose for mtb climbs but so far so good and overall just way more supportive.
Best fitting seat I’ve owned
Tried this seat and that seat with no luck of finding comfort. Got measured for a seat and apparently I have wide sitbones. Tried the 168mm Specialized seat and I was finally able to sit on the seat comfortably.
Very comfortable saddle
Light saddle and just like the power comp I have. Solid 10/10
Saddle is firm but settles in within a few minutes. Very comfortable.
This saddle came stock on my Epic and I found it to be the most comfortable saddle I have ridden. I purchased two additional saddles, so that I now have this saddle on all my bikes. Highly recommend.
Not tried that many saddles but don’t think I’ll try any other than this one. Comfortable and great ride position
Tried other saddles, this so far is the best. The down turned wings are perfect, no fatigue behind my upper thigh.
I have this product on several mountain bikes, it’s very comfortable and quite durable.
Great saddle! Shorter than what I had before, nice and wide though and more contoured. My previous saddle was long and flat in comparison. I feel very “in” this saddle. And the open center channel does relieve pressure.
One of the most comfortable seats I’ve sat on, especially on longer rides. Love it.
Its great feels great but picture of product need to he updated i was hoping to get the one in the pictures with the shiny under side and chrome rails but I guess thats the old model(?)
I've been using this saddle for about 16 months and couldn't be happier with the comfort and shape. I really appreciate the cutout and shorter nose on this saddle which keeps me from snagging my shorts or bumping my sensitive area when the going gets chunky on my mountain bike. I was previously using the manufacturer-branded saddle on my Kona hardtail and it was agony. I went to my local bike shop which measured me and recommended the 155mm Power Saddle. The difference was night and day. I swapped it over to my new Canyon and used it happily for another year. I picked up a Stumpjumper expert this year which better suits the trails I ride and immediately swapped the 143mm Bridge Comp it came with for this one. Just did 22 miles of long climbs and chunky descents today and no discomfort whatsoever.
These saddles come in different sizes. It's not just a matter of clicking BUY NOW and throwing it on the bike. I was measured for a 155 and immediately took it to the trail. It's incredible. That is all. Rigid, comfortable (because it fits)...just fantastic.
I was not quite feeling right on my romin evo so I decided to give this a try. Best switch I have made for my bike. This saddle is very comfortable, can do 50 mile rides with no issues. I struggled reaching 25 on my romin. This saddle has great support and no matter the position you are on the saddle, you are supported. Highly recommended.
So far, this is the best for me. Just did my second 50 miles without problems
Been riding Specialized Toupe saddles for a decade. Last month on a 50 mile ride, my butt was in pain before mile 20. That night I switched to the Power saddle, and the next day rode 30 more miles with total comfort - kept waiting for the butt pain that never came. Rode another 250 miles on the Power saddle in the last few weeks - total comfort. Can't explain how it works, but can attest that it did for me.
I am fairly new to cycling. I've tried several different saddles looking for the right fit, and this is it for me. I ride a flat-bat hybrid, so not riding an an overly aggressive position, but I find the Power Expert to be exceptionally comfortable. Most importantly, no more numbing anywhere! My sit bones measurement is 138 and I opted for the 168 and have had no issues with the width thus far. Highly recommend.
When you're having an issue with your saddle finding a replacement can be like searching for the holy grail. You can end up sending saddles back on a weekly basis and relying on the goodwill of the shop. I gave up and chose the wiser route of a saddle fit with a shop with a good reputation for saddle fits. It was all about the sit bones and the saddle that matched my rear was the Specialized Power Expert, 155mm width. More importantly, the saddle has a decent cut out thus reducing pressure on your vital regions which will benefit you long term.
I posted on FB need for a seat, so many women post same problems with seats especially I'm triathlons. A women sent me this and it works for me, and after reposting my outcome every woman asked ""which seat is it!"" So hopefully another woman can find this works for them too. Specialized if you get a bunch of orders....your welcome.
Tried numerous channeled/solid standard long nose saddles over the years. All gave me pain/saddle sores in time. The moment I tried this saddle I knew it was literally perfect and haven't looked back since. The snub nose with its slight downward tilt just at the tip is comfortable enough to brace your pelvis against during efforts w/o being as absurd as something like a selle smp (no hate just not my cup of tea). Combined with a proper fit, I've been able to alleviate a lot of pain/pressure from my sit bones/pelvis/lumbar spine. Also, I've never left a review online for anything in my life but products rarely blow me away like this. Seriously I just thought it would be ""another saddle."" Obviously no saddle is perfect for everyone but if you are in the market, and more traditional saddles have seemingly failed you, I would absolutely give this a try.
I bought this after the fizik that came on my CAAD12 was causing numbness. This has been perfect!
I've been riding the same saddle brand/model for 9 years now (been riding a bike for 30+ years). I thought it was perfect. I had convinced myself that long rides or back to back days in the saddle were uncomfortable simply due to my getting older. Having set my sights on a week long bike packing trip, I thought I'd confirm my saddle choice and just give something else a try. The Power Saddle is a game changer. zero discomfort on long rides and back to back days are not a problem. I wish I had made the change years ago.
Bought myself a Specialized como2.0 and it had a comfort seat. Not comfortable at all, in fact it gave me so much pain that I was thinking of selling the bike. Went back to bike shop and asked about a saddle fit. They did this and the girl sally recommended a Specialized power expert in a 143 fit for myself. Wow, what a difference it made. Thanks you sally and I'm looking at buying another for my Scott sparky. Thanks
I've only riden the saddle for a little over 100 miles, but at this point, it is more comfortable than any other saddle I've tried and I'm on saddle six or seven trying to find a good fit for my bum.
If I could hug the Specialized folks, I would! I had been suffering for 2 years and really didn't even know how much. I did know that my legs did not give out, it was discomfort on the saddle that stopped my rides. I had a professional bike fit & sit bones measured to needing 164mm wide saddle. I chose the Power Expert 168mm because of all the great reviews online & it came wide. I truly can't describe the wonderful difference!! I never understood when people would say that their saddle ""disappeared"" underneath them. I understand that perfect now! It truly is a game changer!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!
My backside still get's numb after 2 hrs. on the road, but it sure looks cooler!
One of the best if not the best saddles I have ever ridden on Lasting comfort from short distance to long distance I would highly recommend this saddle to everyone who is looking for comfort and stability Continue to be the forerunner company of the bicycle industry 5 Star rating God bless your staff
After years of happily riding leather saddles, I never thought I'd go for this type of design. But after experiencing alarming numbbness in the nether regions on a 75 mile hilly (long) ride, I did some research, got fitted by a specialized rep with their digital saddle fit setup (I think it's called retuul?). He found my sitbone distance and he highly recommended this type of saddle. My junk is so much happier. I no longer feel like cycling might compromise my, um, reproductive health. The saddle disappears under me and the pressure on my 'areas' is greatly relieved. I feel the weight more on my sitbones, but I'd rather have a mildly sore rump than numb nuts. Saddles are very personal, but this is a winning design for me. The shorter nose really helps, the cutout is comfy, and it took very little adjustment to find the perfect placement. Looks good, sturdy, and well-built, too!
I have this seat on all of my bikes, just love it.
Finding a proper fit in a saddle is difficult as a bigger guy. The. 155 mm version of the Power Expert is perfect for me. No numbness, no pain, no saddle sores. Overall, a confident thumbs up.
I am very happy with the design, it is very comfortable, I thought the size would be very large but the size makes it more comfortable, I recommend it.
I went through a few saddles before I decided to invest in this one. It was a great decision, very comfortable saddle, no more numbness, no more soreness in my private areas.
