ALLIED Feather + Down Fill and PrimaLoft® Bio™ combine to create lightweight insulation that keeps you warm when you need it to but packs small when it’s time to stow the cycling jacket in a jersey pocket. To help block the chill when temperatures drop, a roomy hood fits over your helmet to lock in the heat. The semi-form fit makes it easy to layer over your other cold weather gear.

ALLIED Feather + Down Fill is blended with PrimaLoft® Bio™ to create a sustainable synthetic insulation that’s packable, lightweight, and warm.

My favorite jacket for ultras

I bought this jacket before I started in a 7-day ultra in the Pyrenees. Lots of hike-a-bike and sleeping wild in the mountains. The jacket doubles as sleeping gear (had comfortably warm nights in it, despite cool temperatures). It’s also an excellent jacket on cool mornings and late evenings. Properly shaped for riding and the hood will go either over or under the helmet (I found ‘over’ to be more comfortable). Packs up nice and small. Either roll it up or just stuff it in its sack. Both methods work although rolling is just a tiny bit more compact.
