Offering an unprecedented combination of comfort, efficiency, and nimble handling, the Sirrus X excels on pavement, dirt, and any terrain in between.

SMOOTH, COMFORTABLE, AND EFFICIENT: The patent pending Compliance Junction frame design of the Sirrus X provides the smoothest ride in its class. Engineered vertical compliance without sacrificing lateral rigidity translates to more comfort, control, and efficiency on all roads, paved or gravel.

RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED: Like all Specialized carbon bikes, the geometry of each frame is uniquely crafted. This means that for every frame, each tube size and carbon layup is specifically selected to achieve the optimal balance of rigidity, weight, and responsiveness to ensure that no matter what size you’re riding, you’re going to experience the world’s best ride.

NIMBLE: Class-leading light-weight, exceptional pedaling efficiency, and steering precision merge for confident, nearly telepathic handling characteristics.

  • Specialized FACT 9r carbon frame features internal cable routing.

  • Using our Rider-First Engineered™ philosophy, the geometry of each frame is uniquely crafted. Each tube size and carbon layup is specifically selected to achieve the optimal balance of rigidity, weight, and responsiveness no matter the frame size.

  • The Compliance Junction provides just the right amount of flex and forgiveness across the carbon frame without sacrificing performance and efficiency.

  • Future Shock 1.5, Specialized’s unique suspension design, is placed inside the headtube to prevent harsh frequencies caused by bumps in the road from reaching the handlebars.

  • Wide 38c Pathfinder tubeless-ready tires are ideal for mastering variable terrain, providing traction and comfort off the beaten path.

  • The minimalist yet efficient SRAM NX Eagle 1x drivetrain with wide-range gearing ensures smooth and reliable shifting.

  • Tektro hydraulic brakes with large 160mm rotors provide reliable stopping power on- and off-road.

  • Sirrus X 5.0 is fender and rack compatible with top tube and fork mounts, and racks can be used with 51c DRYTECH fenders, making Sirrus easy to rack and roll.

Ok for the price

This category of bike fits nicely, right between my Epic Evo and Tarmac. However, far from perfect for a few reasons. The QC set up on this bike lacks quite a bit! The chain has the original honey packing grease, and was just thrown on. Now all the transmission is mucky. The brake lines were not trimmed at all, just thrown on. Easily could cut 7”-8” off to tidy up. Had some rub on the paint from the lines. I opened a tire valve to inflate, and one of the valve cores literally shot out and deflated immediately. The heavy NX cassette wasn’t fully tightened, and caused shifting problems and wobbling. Missing several screw grommets. The components on this bike are quite low spec, given this price. The brakes feel like to 2 blocks of wood squeezing on a cork surface. The seatpost collar clamp is terrible. The taper BB and crankset is low end for this price! The wheelset is ~ 2,100 grams, and bearings feel like steel balls rolling down a concrete road.

Great commuter

I bought this bike to be my daily commuter and I love it. I have over 800 miles on it so far and it is holding up great. I am set up tubeless and have not encountered a puncture that could not be sealed. The compatible fenders work great to keep me dry. I have done a few gravel rides and that is when this bike really impressed me. The compliance junction does its job to soak up the bumps and the pathfinder pro tires have a ton of grip. The future shock does help but I think it would have been fine without it. My only complaints are of the choice of groupset. I regularly spin out and I have never used any of the low gears. I hope Specialized decides to put a proper crankset (not square taper and made of steel) with a 40t chain ring and a Sram XPLR groupset on their future models.
