Stumpjumper FSR Comp 650b

2016 Stumpjumper FSR Comp 650b

When you need to blend ruggedness, efficiency, and down right nimbleness into one trail bike, it's pretty damn hard to beat the confidence inspiring construction of an alloy frame like the Stumpjumper FSR Comp 650b. It features an M5 alloy construction that's lightweight, durable, and plenty stiff and compliant, while a durable blend of Shimano and SRAM components have been hand selected to ensure that you get the most performance over rugged terrain possible. And when you factor in our proprietary Rx Trail Tune at the shock, plus an aggressive, trail-eating geometry that features absurdly short chainstays, a roomy top tube, a low bottom bracket, and a slacked out front end, you get a trail bike that you can be confident in, season after season.

Sweet

I bought this bike in 2016. I've ridden Oregon black diamond tech trails, with boulder drops, tons of roots and rock gardens, and this thing had no issue. It rips through whatever you throw at it. The only gripe I have is the squishy suspension. I ride mostly fully locked out due to how soft the suspension is. Will be upgrading next season. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Bike handles very well, very nimble bike, smooth through the choppy downhill roots, jumps and lands exceptionally well. Very capable climber as well.
