Roubaix Pro

Delivery Icon

We deliver! Just say when and how.

The Roubaix Pro is an endurance road tire that's well suited for smooth and rough roads alike. That's because it's fast like any competitive road tire, only it features a bead-to-bead Endurant casing, plus our BlackBelt technology for puncture protection. Meanwhile, the casing smooths your ride and keeps you fresh, while the tread handles responsively over mixed terrain. It also features a slick center tread for low rolling resistance and shoulder sipes for increased surface adaption and grip.

1 year, 3000 miles

23/25mm bought as a commuter tyre to replace very fragile Conti GP 4000s. Commute is 22 miles/day across the city so there's broken glass, potholes, uneven roads etc. Grip is fantastic in wet and dry - no issues there at all. Rubber seems vulnerable to cuts - the centre line is sliced to pieces and I certainly wouldn't have been able to run these tubeless as the cuts are far too large to seal. After a year the rubber is starting to crack. Wear indicators suggest plenty of life left but coming into winter and with 8 punctures in the last fortnight I'd say they've reached the end of life. I'd consider buying again as a summer commuter but for over winter the blackbelt protection doesn't cut it.

1000+ mile review

These are some of the best endurance tires I have used. I have over 1000+ miles on them and they are still as compliant, smooth, and low rolling resistant as the day I bought them four months ago. I would highly recommend for those riders looking for an endurance tire that rides well, corners well, provides traction on wet roads and puts long miles in on rides. As for the recent complaints on here, one didn’t mount his correctly allowing sealant to leak out, another didn’t ride it for five years and the other seemed to like his other tires whatever those were. Everyone else seems to agree these are some of the best tires you can buy and I agree.

Less. Than Stellar

The tires didn’t meet my expectations. I originally had 700 x 23 tires and upgraded to 700 x 28 expecting a faster smoother ride. The bike now requires more effort and it doesn’t turn as nimble as the original tires. I was happier with my original tires.

The rubber dry rot cracks like crazy

I had small chunks come off due to dry rot at which point I had to throw them out. This is too bad because I really liked the tires, no flats with any of the two sets, wore like iron, had hardly any cuts, and had great traction dry or wet. If you are the kind of person who has one bike, rides it a lot, and goes through tires once a year or two, and needs a tire that will hold up to abuse and against flats then these would be a great tire to have. But I have several bikes that I ride, so a set of tires on one bike will last about 4 to 5 years. I am perplexed as to what kind of star rating to give the tires, had I had them for a couple of years, and they didn't dry rot but simply wore out after a lot of miles, I would have given them a 5-star rating, but since they cracked I only could give them a 2 1/2-star rating, but of course, they only have a 2 or 3-star rating so I went with the 3 because I did have them for a while, and the positives of the tire outweighed giving them a 2.

The best I have owned

bought these in 32mm for my Creo gravel, as my existing were relatively heavy. Its an amazing transformation, as instead of crashing over holes and rough surfaces, they 'bounce over' and give the greatest ride, while at the same being are perfectly balanced and light, making my battery go further I believe. Tubeless took a bit of time to bed in and completely seal, and while I still do pump them up every ride, they are now only down to about 66/68lbs from my preferred pressure of 73lbs. [I weigh 70kg] Highly recommended.

Great tires

I put a 30/32 set on my Cervelo Caledonia last April (2022), tubeless setup, mounted to DT Swiss rims that come with the Cal's Ultegra offering. I put 1200 miles on these on mixed pavement/gravel in southern MN. Some of this gravel was rough, some pretty much clear. These performed flawlessly, no punctures at all. Won't be surprised to get 5k+ miles on these - Awesome tires! My set measured close to 32mm, maybe a little over set up as tubeless.
