Whether your goal is to escape on gravel back roads, far from cars and crowds, or drop the hammer at the front of your favorite gravel race, no bike does it better than the new Diverge. It’s quite simply the fastest, most capable - and just maybe the most fun - bike we’ve ever made, delivering a ride that’s quick and lively under power, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. Great bike! Noisy Suspension

This bike is significantly more capable than I expected and I want to love it with all my heart. However, you can really hear the future shock 2.0 when it gets going. Big rapid compressions make a pronounced squeak that fills me with regret because it makes the bike sound and feel much feel cheaper than is. The shop I bought it from switched out the innards and tried really hard to make it quiet but they eventually determined that the squeak is a normal noise caused by the dampening system. So if you prefer silence, the future shock 1.5 is probably a better choice. The electronic grx group set is very sexy and feels amazing in the cockpit, it can be adjusted on the fly too which is really cool, and battery seems to last forever, but it also seems a bit finicky and noisy. This was also also a lot to pay for a bike with aluminum wheels. Otherwise, the bike is perfect! Really fast and solid feeling, comfortable. Its almost a mountain bike and almost a road bike at the same time, does both tasks well. Down tube storage is fantastic!

Great ride for all surfaces

Mostly ridden on roads and packed bike trails. I am in my 50s average 14-15 mph no matter the ride. Guess I'm a sport touring exerciser 4 to 5 days a week 18 to 20 miles daily 40 to 50 milers weekends. Also do Iowa's Ragbrai 7 days annually. I like the secure feel of this bike and have Marathon Supreme 35s on it, I hate flat! Rolls great and they work well on unpaved surfaces. Love the Di shifting and 11 speeds is fine. Bike has nice handling not twitchy and when riding with friends kicking it up a notch or two pace wise is no issue. I had the 2019 Sport, great as well, but the Di shifting and Future Shock 2.0 are significant upgrades. I lucked out selling my 1yr old Sport $300 over my original purchase because of the covid-19 inventory shortage so pulled the trigger! No regrets. Only one small negative likely corrected if you buy now. Specialized had the seatpost collet wrong sized. I had mistaken temporary buyer's remorse because the post was dropping millimeters while riding causing knee pain and minor fatigue 3/4 through rides. Took the bike in after noticing I couldn't tighten the post enough to prevent side to side movement from a good side bump. Turned out Specialized had a bulletin out about the collet fit and had shops pulling current for previous model collets problem solved, major sigh of relief!

Gave me everything I hoped it would

Wanted a single bike that I could use for everything but full on single track, and this is it. Futureshock, rear post flexibility, and big tires at lower pressure make everything feel very smooth, whether rough tarmac, uneven paved trail, or gravel. I no longer find myself steering round rough areas on the road - I can just ride straight on through. This is my first experience of electronic shifting, and I love the precise feel. Brakes are good, and have done a two day trip with rear racks mounted and everything felt extremely solid, both on tarmac and gravel.

INSANE

Specialized absolutely has set the standard in the gravel world. With the new geometry specifications, flex, and of course the GRX components ... this bike is amazing. THANK YOU!
