Style is in the eye of the beholder, and all who behold the new RBX Adventure Over-Shorts will fall in love with their style – the twill weave fabric is tough and stylish while the 11” inseam (size Medium) falls just above the knee for a casual, athletic look. But RBX Adventure Over-Shorts are about a lot more than just looking good, because we all know riding well is what it’s all about. With plenty of pockets to keep your gear secure – not to mention a few bucks and your ID for post ride refreshment – as well as an inseam length designed to integrate well with knee pads, these over-shorts fit perfectly in the saddle, giving you the freedom of movement to pedal efficiently.
  • Twill-weave fabric is durable and casual-looking, providing a technical advantage on any Adventure.
  • Two rear pockets, two front pockets and a secure front pocket provide ample room for carrying all your cargo on the ride.
  • 11" inseam (size 34 waist) falls above the knee.

Great Shorts for Dirt - Could Use More Pockets

I grabbed these to reduce the seriousness of my gravel and mountain bike rides. I went up one size just out of caution and wish I didn't. While the first fit was comfortable to slightly loose, they were falling down during the first 2-hour trail ride I wore them on. Did a gravel ride the next week with a belt and that works well enough to keep them. Size-wise though, I think they probably run true to size. I do wish there were some pockets on the legs. You get your ""standard"" pockets, which aren't super-accessible while you're pedaling and none are particularly good for a cell phone.

I like the concept, but the fit was off...

The short is well-made and the fabric is tough, yet flexible. However, I think the shorts shipped to me were more like a 34"" waste vs. 32"". I have to really tighten my belt to not have the shorts hang down by my knees. In addition, I was surprised that these don't have any internal belt or cinching feature.
