Whether your goal is to escape on gravel back roads, far from cars and crowds, toe the start line at your first gravel race, or simply get the most versatile bike on the road or dirt, no bike is better than the new Diverge. It's quite simply the fastest, most capable - and just maybe the most fun - alloy bike we've ever made, delivering a ride that's quick and lively, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. With all-new gravel geometry and category leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we've learned over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can dream up entirely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.

With a premium E5 alloy frame and a full carbon FACT fork the Diverge Base E5 delivers a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, in the dirt, and over thick gravel. Shimano's Claris 2x8 group gives a wide range of gears for any terrain, while Axis Elite alloy wheels and Road Sport 35mm tires provide an efficient ride on pavement with the versatility for hard pack dirt riding.

  • Our Premium E5 Aluminum frame provides a stiff, light, and durable platform. When mated to our full carbon FACT fork, the Diverge Base E5 becomes a light, lively and versatile bike ready to attack any surface.
  • We tossed gravel geometry ‘status-quo’ out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we’ve ever created for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike in the dirt, that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. We’ve increased the frame’s reach, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt, while spec’ing shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. We’ve kept the bike’s BB low to increase stability, but high enough to utilize with 650b wheels if that’s your jam.
  • We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out.
  • Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a machined alloy beam behind the chain rings we’ve created clearance without using a fragile dropped chain stay design or increasing chain stay length.

Great value for money

This is my first gravel bike and I've done so far about 1000 km on it. The bike is very good, delivers great value for money and I would highly recommend it especially for those, who would like to get the first gravel. Exceeded expectations! Great thing, super fast, can get you to where road bike can't. Very good for commuting.

First Road/Gravel Bike

I'm new to cycling and had no idea there was a thing called "Gravel Bikes" but I'm super happy I stumbled across this bike. I can go places my friends cannot on there true road bike's. I can ride just as fast as them or faster, super comfortable and overall super happy this is my first bike. I have put in over 1,000 miles in 3 months and just in love. Next bike (keeping this one) will be a Tarmac for sure.

Diverge E5 Base 2021 amazing

I bought this bike in January 2021 coming from a mountain bike background I wasn’t for a road specific bike . This bike is amazing , I’ve covered almost 6000 miles on mine , and I took part in a gravel race last weekend on mine and it was a real treat to ride .

Love my Diverge, would buy it again!

Drove over 150 miles to pick up mine; olive green. Loved it. I have a heavy duty mountain bike I use when I have an impulse to go off-road and use my Diverge mostly for road. Not disappointed at all as I ride frequently and long rides on the weekends on country roads that are less than optimal where I live. The Diverge handles everything and then some. Glad I took the leap and the long drive to pick up mine

absolutely buy this bike

Phenomenal bike. My first gravel bike and im consistently smiling each time i ride it. Does very well on the pavement too with last weeks time of 30 miles in 105 minutes. Get the charcoal color if you want to enjoy that carbon look as you blast buy other people they will only assume you paid for the full carbon. Very pleased as the wife has the same bike but in green.

Great bike with a little adjustment.

I ride mostly on the road. The color in real life is NOT Orange. The tires on the bike are NOT the ones listed on the specs. They are the first thing I changed on the bike. The OE tires on mine were the Roadsport Endurant model that are on the pictured model at 700x35c. Changed to Panaracer Gravel King SK Knobby 700x38c. The stock saddle isn't the worst but I changed it to a Brooks B17 from my old bike that is just broken in. After about 700 miles so far and some minor adjustments to the shifting and brake cables I can say this is truly a great bike and I'm very happy with it.

salmon pink is not blaze orange

the color ""BLAZE"" while orange in the online pictures, is actually SALMON PINK. its just not even close to the same in person, i just bought one of these based on the images from this site which show a clearly blaze orange bike. when i get to the shop 2 hours away, they wheel up a salmon colored hideous bike. my jaw dropped in disbelief, surely this was a mix up, but no its really just pink. and best of all, no one thought to tell me beforehand. JUST CALL THE COLOR SALMON it already has a name, and that name is not blaze. blaze is orange, like the pictures.

Like a magic carpet meets a monster truck

This is the first gravel bike I've owned. I was riding a long travel 29"" enduro mountain bike before this. While I loved how well it smashed through the descents, I was feeling like it was really lacking on the climbs. Meet, the Diverge Base E5. NOTHING stops this bike on the uphills, it feels like a magic carpet meets a monster truck. I dont know why anyone would pick a full suspension mountain bike over this.

I'm in love

This is easily one of the best purchases I have ever made, all the zip of a road bike plus the added bonus of the gravel bike tires and fork width so you can keep tracking even once the road ends. And what a looker!! I can't seem to get off it once I get on!
