When Mischa Bredewold raised her arms in victory at one of the Netherlands’ most prestigious home races this year, it was more than a win—it was a celebration of resilience, talent, and unwavering determination.

In 2018, Mischa’s world was turned upside down when she was hit by a truck during training, suffering a devastating series of injuries that doctors feared might leave her unable to walk again—let alone race a bike. But Mischa refused to accept that fate. With relentless grit and courage, she fought her way back—step by step, pedal stroke by pedal stroke.

Today, her palmarès is nothing short of a medical and athletic triumph. She has claimed multiple stage wins at top-tier races, like her stage wins at Itzulia Women in 2025, as well as conquered one-day classics, is current ITT Dutch national champion, and in 2023, delivered a particularly emotional performance to take the European Champion title.

Mischa’s story is not just one of success—it’s one of defiance, recovery, and inspiration.
