The safety benefits of a versatile tail light for use at night or during the day are huge. And with a spherical lens that directs those lumens more than 1/2 km, even in the brightest California sun, this is our go-to light for the lunch ride. Its six light modes provide multiple options for day or night visibility, which will increase your safety and peace of mind while riding. The tail light runs for up to 77 hours, depending on mode choice, and is charged easily via the built-in USB tab that eliminates the need for a charging cable.

Does what you want a rear light to do.

Fits to the bike easily and holds it position over rough gravel roads. Bright and easy to see. Charges quickly. The charge will hold over long rides.

Everyone needs a light

Lights are a necessity now. The Stix lights are excellent and easy to use. For the last year I have used both a taillight and headlight on my bike while riding regardless of the time of day. They are easy to install, remove, and charge. I charge my lights every 2-3 rides to make sure they are always ready to go. I have never had a light bounce off and they even stay on my bike while on the highway at 75 mph. Great product, minimal care necessary, bright. I have never had an issue with battery life, even on 6+ hour rides. I do stay on top of keeping my lights charged just like my other riding electronics (Garmin, sensors, etc). I have used the same mount that came in the box, with no issue to report yet. My light is on a gravel/cross bike so it has seen lots of dirt, mud, singletrack, and water; all without skipping a beat or ever falling off. I've been happy with it.

good while it lasted

I loved the light and the flash features. I traveled all through Europe with this light and always felt safe. Sadly it bounded out of its mount twice, The second time I didn't notice until I got home so now it's gone. I would totally buy the same light again if the securing mechanism was improved.

Sad feelings

I've had this light for three years, out of which two of them, I had an active bike routine. During these years, the light served me reasonably well... The battery life is somewhat of a letdown... I learned to carry a power-bank with me for longer rides, since, even fully charged, the light would not last for more than three hours. Due to work, I had to cut down on biking for a while and to my surprise, when I went to go for a ride, my light just popped right open. I think the battery swelled up. I am not sure how long they are supposed to last... but it did come as a surprise. It's a shame since it has a beautiful design for a speed bike and wonderful lumen output.

Bright light. Short life.

A great tail-light, but needs to be charged EVERY time you use it. It won't last for even 2 rides of 1-2 hours. If you forget to charge it each time, you're just out of luck.

Great, when it works

I'm on my third rear light. After 6 weeks of use (with recharging after each use - 2-4 hours, 3 days per week), the light has failed, three times. The bike store has been great about replacing it, but come on...3. BTW I have had the same Stix headlight, used and recharged on exactly the same schedule, using exactly the same charger, without any problems during the same period in which 3 tail lights have failed. Great light for 6 weeks, then get ready to return it.

My light of choice for commuting year-round.

Been using the Stix lighting system for roughly a year now. I purchased a set of the elite lights for both my commuter and gravel bike. Previously, I was using Bontrager battery operated lights that you can find at most every bike shop. Unless someone shows me something significantly better, I am certain I will continue to use these as my main lighting system for commuting and city travel. I commute every day in Portland year-round, and have been looking for something that is simple and reliable. I have really come to love the simplicity of these lights. They are super easy to mount/dismount, and changing through the different settings is super easy. The brightest steady and strobe settings produce more than enough light to stay visible at dusk, and I use the lower settings to stay visible at night without blinding cars behind me. The fact that they are USB rechargeable is a game changer for me as well. By habit, I recharge them after my 40 min commute and each one takes less than 10 min to charge to full. It's been super nice to take off for each ride knowing that they won't go out on me. I highly recommend mounting these with the saddle and rear rack mounts. They provide a super secure mount for the light, and the positioning looks pretty sleek. Cons: - The battery life isn't incredible when using the highest lumen settings. At the highest setting, I've found that the light goes out after 1.5-2 hrs. - It can be difficult to discern how much time you have left on the battery. When you turn the light off it flashes green or red to indicate how much battery is left, but it's not crazy informative. - When first purchasing these, I went through about four lights total due to not being able to hold a charge. Customer service more than made up for it, as they sent me replacement lights for free each time I had a problem. It looks like they've since fixed the problem, as I've not had any issues with the most recent pair.
