Good value however my feet suffer on long rides

Extremely comfortable

Very comfortable. Most Specialized shoes are too narrow for me and start to hurt on long rides but these are much wider.

So far yes.

My first pair of bg specialized shoes were purchased in '08. I found these beaut's on sale and couldn't pass them up. I'm glad I didn't, the are light and comfortable. I can't wait to see how they really break in.

Great Everything Shoe

Fits great, true to size. You can't really go wrong with these shoes, especially for the current closeout price. Nice and stiff sole, I've done just about 300 miles in them and they're comfortable. Highly vented so your feet stay nice and cool. The only downside is if you ride in the rain, your feet will get soaked. I would suggest to buy water-proof shoe covers.

Seem like good quality but much too narrow, returned.

I have a pair of Comp MTB shoes that work really well for me so I ordered a pair of these a half size larger because half sizes weren't available. When I received them I put one on and it was so tight I didn't bother trying the second. Put them back in the box and returned them. As it turns out Specialized won't let you exchange them towards the purchase of a different item. I am still waiting for my refund 2 weeks after sending it back. I won't be buying from Specialized online again.

Excellent shoes for MTB and gravel riding.

These shoes are really comfortable and fit very well. The lacing allows me to tighten the shoes evenly along the top of the shoe. They are stiff for power transfer, but remain comfortable when hiking with the bike.

Great shoe its a shame they quit making them

For a gravel, cross, touring or road shoe thy are fantastic solid as a road shoe but without the clickity clackity walking. Fit is fantastic.

Great product for rough conditions

I'm a college student in Idaho and ride my bike everywhere. It's constantly snowy and muddy but the shoes provide great grip and keep my feet dry.

The Recon shoes Rock

These are super comfortable, grippy for the hike a bike section. I'm disappointed these shoes are discontinued. Please bring them back!

These got recommended to me and I'll recommend them

A buddy at a Specialized shop told me these were the shoe to get and they were on discount. I couldn't be happier. They fit to size, the power transfer is good and the elastic strap that holds in the laces is a nice touch. 10/10 would buy again

Great shoe.

A little on the stiff side, not bad once broken-in.

Not for these feet

Too narrow. Just not the correct last for my feet.

Love this shoe

I've put over 7k miles on the pair I have and they're still holding up strong and comfy. Terrific fit, good for the longest days in the saddle and even do duty out of the saddle well enough.

Love 'em

I've put a few thousand miles on these and they're awesome. I've been very surprised by them. I keep dishing it out and they keep taking it. The've been soaked in rain and completely immersed in mud a few times...let the mud dry, brush em off, wipe them down....they're ready to go, again. They're grippy, they're comfy, and they're tough. They breathe well but that also means they do get cold in the winter without shoe covers and they do fill up with water when riding in a downpour. I prefer the ventilation, though, to a sealed up water-resistant shoe that cooks your feet.
