Every July, the Champs-Élysées becomes the stage for la victoire suprême—the ultimate triumph for the peloton’s sprinters. It’s the finish line every fast man dreams of, rehearsing the perfect victory salute for that one iconic moment.
After 20 grueling days of racing in the Tour de France, the final stage belongs to the sprinters. And in 2023, it delivered a heart- stopping climax: a photo finish that Jordi Meeus will never forget. On cycling’s most prestigious boulevard, he outpaced the world’s best to claim the biggest win of his career.
Jordi graduated into the WorldTour with Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe in 2021 and is integral to the Classics team and equipment development. His insightful feedback on tire and wheel performance has helped the team at Specialized shift the aero paradigm.
