Sirrus Front Thru-Axle, 100mm

To Kathy: You want a quick-release that stays on the wheel, not the bike... no thru-axle or quick release /stays/ on the bike without threading it back into the frame/ fork. Most entry level bikes are quick release still. There are innumerable options. Having the modern road/ gravel standard 12x100 thru axle up front (and ideally 12x148 thru axle in the rear) opens the bike up for much easier wheel upgrades and wheel swapping options. Don't blame a bike manufacturer for leaving a thru-axle behind...

I just bought a sirrus and I can't understand how with all of the fantastic technology available, there isn't a design for a quick release front axle. I love riding my new bike, but I already left the axle behind on a ride. Please figure this out. I'd love to order an axle that stays with the bike. Love the bike but for this feature, which I'm rating a 1. The overall bike is great..
