2020 Roll Sport - Low-Entry

They say that every journey begins with a single step, but when that journey is related to exercise, that first step can sure be a doozy. But that one step, or in our case pedal stroke, can be life-changing—and there's no better machine to take the plunge with than with the Roll. It has everything you need to help achieve your goals, like a comfortable and upright geometry that makes getting on and off the bike super easy, wide and grippy 650b tires, hassle-free mechanical disc brakes, and a big mix of Shimano components that are built to withstand years of riding. You don't have to sacrifice, you just need the Roll Sport Low-Entry.

Most comfortable

Most comfortable bike I have ever rode. From the grips to the pedals, seat to tires. 20+ miles daily.

First bike out of rehabilitation

Coming out of the wheelchair, then a walker, then crutches, 9 1/2 months after I was hit by a car I was allowed to try bicycling again. I purchased this, medium size instead of my typical large framed bicycle so I had a little more control, and this was perfect. Riding very comfortably with correct posture and a bike I can stop at safely in an emergency.

This bike has me back riding after years

I have two types of arthritis and my rheumatologist had urged me to bike to strengthen my knees. I am 64 and hadn't been on my 21 speed mountain bike in years. I went to a local bike shop and was told about my 7 speed Roll. I'm out 5-6 days a week doing at least 12 miles a day and extremely happy with the comfortable ride. The light weight of the bike makes it easy to get on and off my hitch mounted rack. Best purchase I've ever made for my health and fitness!

The Roll bicycle is the best ever!

I am a 70 year old woman and received this bike for my birthday from my mountain biking son. (He only ever rides Specialized). Best bike ever. I now do an average of 17 miles daily!

Couldn't Be Better If I Had Designed It Myself

I am a 67 year old woman who is really a novice at riding. I had a women's mountain bike, but it was heavy and the ""step through"" bar was still too high for me to get my leg over. I fell twice, standing still, just trying to get off it. I did A LOT of research. I looked at Schwinn, Liv, and AO. Then I found the Specialized Roll Sport Low Entry. Now I can ride 15 miles a day for enjoyment! I have a severe balance issue and with this frame, I have no problem getting on or off the bike. The small frame is perfect for my 5'2""/160 lb body. The color selection is awesome. I substituted knobby tires for a little more safety in the dirt. Honestly, I cannot praise this bike enough. Thank you, Specialized, for making a bike that not only is safer for me, but has made me an avid bike rider at 67! And during this Covifd-19 mess, it is my outdoor freedom. Buy one and tell them Jackie sent you.

I LOVE bike riding again!!!

After a bike accident and Significant injury (fractured collarbone) in 2013 the anxiety on a bike was not fun anymore. I wanted to get back on a bike, but sold my Specialized RockHopper before a move to another state where bike riding is king. My husband found this bike online and its been sooo great to enjoy riding again. Stable, easy on and off, nice comfy seat (no bike butt after a 20 mi ride - nice!) great flat pedals, and on top of it all performance with 21 gears, shock absorbing seat post and disk brakes. Highly recommend this bike to skeptics who don't think they can ride a bike anymore. I'm 63 and every day I look forward to some bike time now to replace every day water activity on a paddleboard, thank you Specialized for designing a bike for every body that just rocks!!!

Got me back riding again

At 67 years old, after a month-and-half in the hospital after which I could barely walk, there was no way was I going to ride my road bike. Eventually, I gave it a try but promptly fell when dismounting. I thought my bicycling days were over! But then I started researching ""bicycles for seniors"" and found ""step through"" bicycles were recommended for senior women and men. I checked out several makes and models and ended up buying this one. Now I can ride again with confidence. It is easy to mount and dismount, handles nimbly, and the wide tires soak up the bumps. I wasn't a fan of the big tires, but now I'm glad I have them. Highly recommended for young and old whatever your gender!
