Very comfortable, flexible and good quality

The main function of cycling shorts is the padding / wicking material in the crotch. If you get that wrong, nothing else matters. The padding in these shorts (and I avoid using the term chamois for a good reason)--is just not good. It is too thin. It is not dense enough. It is not very absorbent. It's the same cheap material that is found in most if not all super cheap / cheaper shorts. And, if I had never owned / worn shorts with a proper / better chamois, I probably wouldn't have a problem with these. But I have. So I do. I can't imagine that the cost to use a better / proper chamois could be THAT much more. But I guess Specialized reserves that better material for their "premium" products...?

sad to see this superior short go. Foundation is not even close . Bring the Roubaix short back.

Recently got into cycling. Started with cheap padded shorts and was ok but not great for my rides. Got these today and took them for a spin. Simply amazing the difference. Will be buying more of these.

This is my first pair of real cycling shorts and they have been incredible! The fabrics are soft and stretchy. They also provide a lot of support in the saddle area. I am 6ft 145lbs and the size small fit perfectly.

as a long term cyclist, I know my sizes, these shorts are ridiculously small and very warm, so not good for summer.

Not my favorite but not bad by any means. I am tall and they are a bit short in the leg.

This is an excellent bike short! I bought it on sale so it almost feels like a steel (the original price is also fair compared to other well known brands and also products you see on Amazon). The material feels very smooth and nice to the skin. Padding is pretty good. I can ride many miles without feeling sore hotspot. Highly recommend!

Find them fit really well in general but need a little more break-in time to really mold to my body.

Great padding. I have cheaper bibs from ebay and these are so much more comfortable.

These shorts are similar in fit and quality of the Pearl Izumi Attack Shorts that I purchased several years ago. I am 5' 10", 160#, 36" waist and the large fit fine (even with my scrawny legs).

This short is very comfortable. Very soft on your skin. I’m size small and the product is true to size. Very recommendable.

Super comfortable

This is my first pair of cycling shorts, so I can only compare it to regular running shorts. These are really uncomfortable, my butt hurts even more than while wearing running shorts. I bought these, as I started 40 mile rides and I would not recommend them. When I sit, it scruffs up towards the front, creating a really uncomfortable sitting experience.

These are well made shorts that work well but run a size small for me

The fit me good the reason I gave them a 4 star is because I haven’t road my bike with them on to see how comfortable they are. But otherwise I like the quality and how they fit.

These are great, super comfy and the padding fits just right adding cushion for your sensitive bits. These hold up well as well - though I recommend air drying them as the grippy part can come off if using a machine dryer. Material and build are overall really good and last a long time.

I find that these RBX shorts run small, as I have found most cycling apparel does, so I moved up a size, but still, the Legs are soooo tight compared to other Specialized , as well as other brands I own. This design in shorts is for muscle support and to minimize shorts moving up- but these RBX would not be ones I recommend-

i like the shorts, but the sizing runs small for me. a little tighter on the quads than i personally like

I will not purchase these RBX shorts again. They look like a 5 year old sewed in the padding and these do not look like the quality of body geometry that I have been accustomed to wearing.

I'm 5 ft-11 in and 170 lbs. I bought a medium and it fits well. I like the reflectors for safety and UPF protection for health.

5ft. 180 lb male and take a medium in these. Nice shorts that have become my go to. Just the right amount of chamois without that diaper feel in some brands. Great for warm weather riding.

I've purchased many Specialized products, including 2 bikes. These shorts have been very disappointing, and to be honest, I purchased 3 pair, so I'm basically stuck with them. I'm 70 years of age and average 15 miles per ride.

Fits pretty true to size and padding is nice

This is my second pair. First pair still going strong. Love it. Fit is just right. I am a 32'' at the waist and M size fits well for me. Ideal balance of price and quality. Wraps around my legs. Never had saddle sores. I really forget these shorts when I am riding on my bike. May get a third pair when on sale. Definitely recommended.

I bought a couple pair of these since my old ones had been in use for many years. The new ones were OK, but not as good as the old ones. Still looking for a good pair of road shorts. I have tried the cheaper Pearl Izumi shorts and didn't care for them either. Haven't tried any $!50+ yet, but may pop for a pair and see if they are better.

I ride over 1,000 miles a week and these cycling shorts are terribly uncomfortable. I can't ride my bike any longer than 2 hours wearing them before I get saddle sores (sore butt and chafing in the crotch and inner-thighs area). Every couple hours, I need to pull over on the side of the road and get off my bike to rest my butt.

Most uncomfortable bike short I've ever work. They actually hurt. The padding is so cheaply made that the stitching digs into your skin. Very dangerous to be on a bike wearing these short. Specialized employees who ride should be made to wear these before they send them out. I'm so disappointed that Specialized would put out such an inferior product. It makes me wonder about everything else they're selling.

Good compression, sleek, and comfortable even after many miles, rides, and washes.

Lovely fit, doesn't slip up or down, just the ride amount of padding. I did have to order two sizes bigger than the fit chart -- I ended up with XL shorts that feel quite snug, and I normally wear pants with a 34" waist.

They were exactly what I expected. The fit is perfect and comfortable.

Great shorts, comfortable, fits well, waist band does not constrict my stomach. The chamois is perfect.

I really like the fit of these shorts. Form fitting without being too tight in the crotch, nice compression in the legs, comfortable chamois, and great price. After buying one pair, I bought two more.

The padding is ridiculously too high on the back! Padding under the seat is fine.....I dont need 3 inchs of "chamois Supporting my back !

These are very comfortable shorts. I like the wide elastic band around the legs, they stay in place while being less constricting than other brands.

Little tight in the thighs, especially for cyclist legs. Makes the chamois stick out a little more prominently than I would like. Good design, just made for thinner legs.

I didn't much like the fit or material and returned them.

Fit perfect. Most comfortable chamois I have used for 2-3 hour rides. I have used them about 10 times and they are holding up nicely

These shorts are OK for the price (on sale). However, I have a couple of the exact same model of shorts which are about a year or two older and which I really like but the newer ones feel like the material is thinner and maybe the size is a tad smaller (I wear size Medium - 5’9” and 163 lbs). They are very tight around the quads. Pad is fairly comfortable and seems to wick some sweat away. OK for a 2 hour or so ride but these would not be my first choice for a long 3+ hour ride.

These are my go to riding shorts. They grip well around the bottoms of the shorts. They also have plenty of padding for my long rides.

Nothing but love, the padding is excellent, compression are tight but relax tight. Just overall happy with these shorts.

These bike shorts are good. Grip is good on the thighs and the padding is fine. I found that the shorts come down often in transition from standing up while pedaling as they rub on the bike seat. Result is the padding isn’t where it needs to be, and I have to pull the shorts up, often. Perhaps I need a small and not a medium. Everything else is good.

Bought these for my boyfriend so he can start getting back into cycling- he loved them. Really happy he enjoyed the material and the fit!!

I'm 5'10 (5'11 on a good day, lol), 210lbs and I purchased a size large that fits flawlessly. I'm new to cycling and been looking for a company with shorts/bibs that are right for me. I can say, these shorts are it and I will definitely by the bib as well. Material is soft, padding is good size and soft/firm, minimum to no bum aches. Just overall thrilled with these shorts and most importantly, they do not raise up or move period!

These are very comfortable shorts at a reasonable price, especially when on sale.

Excellent fit and just right amount of padding. Far superior to Sponeed off Amazon and since Pearl Izumi has gone downhill in recent years also far superior to Pearl Izumi.

Have been wearing RBX shorts for almost 20 years. Always a great fit.

Shorts are ok, chamois is adequate. Not as good as the RBX Comp shorts. Those don’t seem to be available anymore. Why discontinue a great product? With RBX Comp shorts I could be out for an 8 to 10 hour ride and not really think about my saddle. With these, after about three hours, I really want to get off my bike. RBX Comp bibs seem to be a thing, but bibs are not for everyone. These are still better than a lot of other shorts out there, I was happy to buy them on sale.

Used the shorts on my century. No issues with the shorts.

Fits well and comfortable ride. Only issue for me is sometimes curling of the top edge even after losing most of my babyfat.

These shorts have worked out just fine. When I first put them on I thought they were too small. After a couple of long rides they seem to be quite comfortable.

Nice wide chamy, padding is great. Nice fit keeps everything where it should be. They don’t ride up on your legs. Love them.

This will be my 5th time buying these shorts in two years. I ride about 150-250 mikes a week so maybe more than average but after 5-6 months these shorts always rip on both sides near the saddle without fail. They are better than any other brand ive tried otherwise in regards to comfortability.

I have not used these yet, but they appear to be of fine quality for materials and construction. They fit great! I was on the bubble on the sizing chart between small and medium. I would have to say that for me, they run small. But I would prefer a tighter fit that I’m hoping will stretch with time, rather than something looser and baggy, particularly with the liner component.

My second pair of the RBX shorts. I have not had either pair for long, but they elastic waist band hasn't slipped and the shorts offer a contoured fit. I like the band at the bottom of shorts.

A decent short with a comfortable chamois. I have the same short from a year ago and it seems like the quality of the material is a little less in the new short. Still, a good short though.

Great bike pants but size runs small - at least for bikers with muscular legs. I normally get a large - waist 36- but I the large pants were way too tight. I replaced with extra large and am very pleased with the product

As I'm trying to get the stamina happening again so I can beat my August 1998 MTB sprint world records I've needed the best shorts and Specialized RBX cycling shorts are a dream come true.
