Deflect™ Gloves

When it's chilly and windy, it's hard to do much better than our Deflect™ gloves. They include a wind-resistant soft shell upper that's paired with a suede palm in order to provide protection from the elements and a firm, comfortable feel at the bars.

Good fitting gloves. The stretchy

Good fitting gloves. The stretchy band around the wrist is a bit stiff and to my taste missing a velcro closure (very difficult to fit it over my wrist watch). Length fingers is good. Material is light and surprisingly suitable for cycling in -5 centigrade. Completely wind proof.

DONT BUY! WireTap is very annoying and does not work at all

The Glove itself is great: Good fit, good, comfort, good visibilty. BUT: The Wiretap for Smartphone in the forefinger makes it a clear NO recommandation: First of all: It does not work at all. I am unable to use it with my smartphone (Iphone X, Iphone 12): The is litteraly NO use of the wiretap. But even worse: It feels very annoying, to a degree, that i am thinking of removing it (cutting it out). I really cannot understand how specialized can come up with such a ""non-feature""? => DONT BUY IT!

Fine glove, odd cuff

These are decent cool weather gloves. The palms are one layer of fabric which I like so I can maintain full grip. The cuffs, which I had hoped were snug, are odd loose neoprene type fabric. Not only are they loose and baggy, they don't breath. So when my hands warm up a bit and sweat, the wrist area is always a bit wet and clammy. I'm tempted to cut the cuffs off and replace them with something better.

Great so far for 40-50F

These gloves are great at under $30. Good quality, fit and comfort. It's not immediately apparent for what temperature they are designed for. In my experience, they are ideal for the 40-50F weather (I average in the tempo heart rate zone). I cycled once in the mid 30s and my hands never quite felt comfortable. Above 50F, my hands were a little too warm.

Solid gove - great value at sale price

I've ridden this glove on a half dozen MTB rides now in mid 30s to mid 40s temps with no cold hand issues. Fit is true to size based on other gloves I've worn. Quality seem quite good. Two thumbs up!

Great glove in cool/cold weather

Excellent fit. Out in 28 degree weather at night with a thin under-layer glove and hands stayed very warm. Great touch sensitivity with phone use as well. Highly recommend.

bad fit, not warm, good materials

I returned the gloves after using them twice (first time was bad, second time to give it a second chance). The fit is poor. I ordered large, which is what I use in every other brand. The top of the glove, form the middle of the palm to the fingertips had a good fit, but the bottom half not quite: they are way to narrow around the thumb effectively putting stress on the thumb throughout the ride (and you can recognize this even as you put on the gloves). In addition, I rode at 45F any my fingertips were freezing, it was painful. On the plus side the material and the padding are good, and the construction is robust.

Great Purchase

Specialized gloves never have disappointed me, these orange ones are warm down to 30f, comfortable, great for hunting season too. I alergic to projectiles of any kind.
