Almost impossible to setup

Original setup was not too bad. Had to replace battery and set up was virtually impossible. Not a bad product if you can set it up. It kept recycling to the time once I got to the tire size.

Love it

I have a Cannondale Rush 4 . I needed an adaptor so i could install the sensor on the Lefty . Im pretty much in trails and off road. I have been having this computer for over 3 years, and i love it . The computer is simple, big numbers, batterys last a long time. I recommand it.

Don't bother

Tried to program wheel/tire size...very little success. The direction booklet didn't match up to what showed up on the screen. Was able to get wheel size programmed, but my choices when I progressed to the ""tire"" screen were 1.9, 2.1, 2.3. Tried calling the toll free number, no answer

A waist of money.

We love it

My kids and i each have one. Very simple to install, we barely did look at the instruction manual, Except for height and wheel size wich was very simple to adjust.

I would not buy again

I love the Specialized brand and was excited about a low-cost display for my miles and speed. But this purchase has been disappointing. I could not figure out how to install it, so I paid my bike shop an extra $20 to do so. The display is on but does not start tracking any information as I ride. Very frustrating.

So far 0% success

Have had this product for several months. Got past the setup without major issues, though agree with other comments that the directions were not straightforward. First 2 trips were fine. Then, as one reviewer also observed, the speed and/or mileage became inaccurate. I have had to fine tune it almost every trip and it remains unreliable. Just this morning i looked down while going down hill and I was apparently going 0 mph. I stopped, adjusted the sensor and magnet and resumed riding. Then, while the speed seemed ok, i apparently was able to travel at about 15 mph but went 0.0 mi in 15min. I was about to trash this and put my 10 yr old non-wireless cateye on my bike, which has performed flawlessly. Fortunately, my local shop owner, after some convincing that these issues are not user error (yes, i checked the battery; yes i lined up the magnet with the sensor; yes, i rechecked and re-aligned), admitted he had seen a few issues and said he would replace it for me. We'll see if the next unit works better. I plan to post an update .

Wish I'd never bought this

It was hard enough trying to get the monitor set up, I still can't get it to detect the magnet. It's setup in the same position as the picture, so why isn't it working? And for people who got it working, how about putting up a video to show the rest of us if it's so easy?

Very simple in use and instalation

I must say, that I don't understand people heveing isues with instalation and setup of thi device. You musn't even red the instructions. It's enough to see the pictograms in manual. So I'm satisfied.

Put the magnet as close as possible to the sensor.

Yep, the setup instructions are very poor and Specialized didn't put any Speedzone II video tutorials on YouTube. The main problems were with setting the tire size/wheel circumference and then minimizing the gap between the magnet and the sensor without having them touch. Lastly, the instructions should explain how to start a new bike ride i.e. reset/clear function data (2secs on left button) as well as finish a ride (freeze timer, distance, average speed, etc.) Not a great start to for a product review. Let's see how well this speedo lasts over the long term.
