The least expensive way to ditch 40+ grams of rotating weight is with our Turbo Talc Tubes. A patented, oversized 4.8cm valve base prevents tearing, while a partially threaded valve stem provides a clean interface with pumps. Our lightest and most supple tube offering, it's also been proven in rolling-resistance testing to reduce drag by as much as 13% per wheel.

700x28-42 w/ 60mm weight is 103g for those interested. This shaved off 55 grams from stock specialized tubes from gravel bike. Great tubes, easy to install. Provides more comfortable ride than stock tubes.
Best tubes
29x1.75-2.4 Weight is approx 150 grams Talc powder is a little much, but so far so good. Shaved off about 95 grams each tube from stock Specialized tubes.
They are talced, they are are lighter, they are for road bikes, BUT the top eighth to quarter inch of the stem has no teeth on it, so beware that you could have a CO2 inflator, or tire pump blow off the end, potentially wasting a CO2 cartridge, and losing the adapter. Als, obviously, adapters that heve to thread on are not going to work. The local bike shop stopped carrying the 'red box' tubes because of that feature. They aren't horrible, you just have to know what to expect using them. I do like them, but couldn't they fix that stem threading issue?
Super
Purched for my MTB SWAT seat hold for emergency repair tube! Fits nicely and of course very lit!
I wish I could write to say awesome great these Tubes are! But unfortunately, these are supposed to be Specialized best racing tubes but they are not any good! Poor quality! Always problems with this tube. The turbo tube does not last long. There are to many factory defects! New Tubes that leak or blow out!!! Presta valve issues too! Slow air leaks constantly. Specialized needs to step up the quality of this tube!! Too many issues. Going on a ride? You better take two!!
I started using these tubes last year and it seemed to reduced the amount of flats. I also like that they have come with talc.
It fits in the swat box, which is why I bought it
Purchased to pair with my S-Works Turbo Tires. They're lightweight and easy to install, however one of the tubes arrived with a pin hole in the middle of the seam, so it would not hold air. I needed to use the tube for a ride and it was too much of a hassle to return, so I just patched it and now just deal with the slow leak. I can't recommend due to QC issues.
Fills my tires ! These tubes do the job , never had a problem- well except for when something sharp or pokey is mean to me and cuts or makes hole in which case I get a flat and put in another one of these awesome tubes that I carry in a saddle bag or jersey pocket.
Light weight makes the tires feel more supple.
Tube has lasted a long time since I changed it a couple of months ago. Ride about 60 miles/week
Talc makes it easier to install
I have been using these tubes for quite a while. I’ve never had and complaints.
I like the Turbo tubes a lot. They are super lightweight and compact enough that I can put two in my kit without making my pocket look bulgy/nasty. The talc makes a huge difference getting the final few inches of tire bead back on the rim as long as it stays relatively dry. No noticeable difference in terms of puncture resistance, etc. compared to other major brands.
Always ready for a flat.
Does what it supposed to do. Fix a flat tire.
I ride gravel, so far so good. Actual weight savings were about 50g per tube. Running them inside Renegade tires. I don't care for tubeless, by the time you add the sealant you're only saving six ounces total over running these tubes and to me the tubeless maintenance is more of a pain. I also run talc (not the kind with corn starch, actual old time talc) to decrease resistance. By the way, the stem on these tubes are advertised as 60mm but are actually 40mm, which is better for me anyway.
Great product!
Best rolling tube period. Let me know if you find one better that’s not latex
Love the powder
+20 WATTS guaranteed :)
Excellent tube!
Have used these fairly light weight but durable tubes with excellent results, the only tubes I’m aware of that come pre-talced, pre-packaged in a sealable plastic bag which I appreciate because I always talc my tubes before installing into tires making these an excellent choice not only for use a home but idea to carry with you on the bicycle for roadside puncture repairs? Although I carry a patch kit, I repair punctures at home then save them for spares? Slightly pricey but worth it if only for the convenience factor?
Great tubes. The 700cx20-26 tube only weighs about 72 grams. These are a bit prone to pinch flats, but that is to be expected of thin tubes. The talc really helps the tube go in easier, but do it outside cause there will be a mess!
As light as a latex tube but as durable as a regular butyl tube.
Their light enough to fit 2 in a saddle bag, just incase you need them!
These work great in Specialized Turbo Cotton Tires. Combined they are lightweight, incredibly low rolling resistance, and fast. These typically last me an entire season and then some. Love that the tubes come pre packed in talc. Even though I have tubeless clincher wheels, I have no interest in running tubeless tires.
These tubes are lighter than most, which won't likely be noticeable. But the smooth, supple ride is magic, at least if you use supple tires like the S-works Turbo series. These aren't in any way puncture resistant, but tires are the big determinant there. And apparently they are more permeable, you'll want to top up the air every couple of days.
Like the tubes and the powder helps get tires on/off the wheels. Cant tell much about rolling resistance though.
