Strong recreational riders. 2-3 times a week. Mostly PNW Coast Range & west slope Cascades. Got weary of Big M cost vs durability & skating issues. Tried a set of Butchers (pre "T" designation), and haven't gone back. Installing them on all our off-road bikes. All 27.5. First, a set of 2.8's mounted on my TJ. Proved to be better all around tires excelling in all conditions. And exceptionally durable, even with a steady diet of paved climbing at our bike park. Two seasons on, nobs still sharp - long after Big M's w/b toast. Then, 2.6's (also pre-designation), mounted on my Bride's Burner. The Butchers just flat kick hard. Then a set of 2.6 T9's on on her Rastro. Rolling resistance is noticeably greater. But they stick like velcro on wet roots & goo. Seriously!. Pay attention to the charts on the boxes!! Two more sets to go. T9's going on my Burner. T7s on the 5.5. Not even gonna shop. Just more Butchers. Amazing tires. Period. Good on ya, Specialized. Keep 'em coming!!
