2017 Stumpjumper FSR Comp 29

Don't get us wrong—carbon fiber is awesome. But when it comes to maintaining piece of mind while you're out getting rowdy on the trail, it's pretty damn hard to beat the confidence inspiring construction of an alloy frame like the Stumpjumper FSR Comp 29. It features an M5 alloy construction that's lightweight, durable, and plenty stiff and compliant, while a durable selection of components from SRAM that have been hand-selected to ensure that you get the most performance over rugged terrain possible. And when you factor in our proprietary Rx Trail Tune at the shock, plus an aggressive, trail-eating geometry that features absurdly short chainstays, a roomy top tube, a low bottom bracket, and a slacked out front end, you get a trail bike that you can be confident in, season after season.

AMAZING BIKE

This bike is unbelievable. The brakes, suspension, and overall bike is really good. It is really light and I would recommend this bike.

I like it!

I bought this as an upgrade to my Scott spark 29er since my riding benefits from more suspension (an upgrade from 100 > 150 mm front and back) and handles much better on the trails. The smaller single crank doesn't ground out going over fallen trees etc which is nice, the gear ratio is fine for trails , the dropper just works compared with my other bike! Overall a nice bike!

Sram Guide R brakes fails

Sram Guide R brakes failed special during hot weather condition. LEVER does not return to its normal position so the brakes left engaged. My bikes is just 2 days old.

Smooth handling in any conditions.

Got the bike at the end of last year. Put it through some rigorous trails. Excellent handling. Just wish the wheels were tubeless ready.
