SURPASS YOUR YESTERDAY #1 SET A NEW RECORD FOR THE TONGYEONG TRIATHLON

EUNBYEOL CHOI (@ellie_byeol)

If there is a flat land that goes smoothly, there is sometimes a headwind blows a little harder, and sometimes the back wind pushes me forward more easily.

Due to the high and varied uphills and downhills, sometimes you meet a wall, and on the contrary, you go down easily.

Just like there are speed bumps holes that completes my day of cycling.

I feel that our lives are similar.

My driving force to strive for a better today than yesterday are “dreams” and “people around”.

No matter how difficult it may be, you can overcome it with the help and support of those around you, and after that, a sweet dream-like downhill comes true.

Recently, I have surpassed many things in my life besides exercise. One of my short-term goals for this year is to set a record in 1 hour and 16 minutes in the Tongyeong Triathlon in October, where is infamous of heavy uphills. Now that I start exercising again, I hope that I can achieve my goal for the next 100 days with S-Works Evade 3!

SURPASS YOUR YESTERDAY #2 RENEW PR AT NAMBUK ROUTE

SOYOUNG KIM (@voglee)

I challenged Mt. Hwaak to surpass my yesterday, but I changed the route to NamBuk (North-South) PR due to extreme weather of July.

Even then, I was sweating profusely and blamed myself for the wrong decision. But in the end, I renewed my PR with full of sweat.

Although I did it by narrow margin, I was proud to have renewed NamBuk PR in the scorching heat with the mission 'Surpass Your Yesterday'.

If it doesn't rain, I'll try again tonight.

SURPASS YOUR YESTERDAY #3 CHALLENGE NEW PLACES WITH CYCLING

Heeji Noh (@no._.easy)

When I go for a ride, I habitually ride the same distance and the same course without realizing it.

When I try to ride a long distance, I suddenly get scared. Maybe I was avoiding it without realizing it.

My future goal is to go beyond my limits and go to new places by bicycle regardless of distance!

SURPASS YOUR YESTERDAY #4 MAKE CYCLING A ROUTINE

TAEYOON JUNG (@jty40)

I came out in a hurry. When I heard the news that it was going to rain again tomorrow, I raised my body, which had been stretched out, and put it on the saddle. When a typhoon moves north, riding becomes difficult for a while.

In fact, my social media feed is full of cycling pictures, but in reality it's not.

After all, our lives are filled with time sitting at our desks, and even our precious rest time is wasted unconsciously staring at our phones. And I am no different from others.

My challenge is continuously to place my time on saddle even if it is a second, or even it is not an intense ride.

Keeping this routine will be a challenge for me and at the same time a way to surpass my yesterday.

SURPASS YOUR YESTERDAY #5 FIND MY WORKOUT BALANCE

JINHEE JEON (@hehe0he)

My biggest concern is an irregular exercise balance!

When I exercise for a long time and hit my stride, I try to work hard on a regular base. But on days when I am not in good shape due to busy work and tiredness, the moment I make excuses without realizing it, I feel like I'm falling behind.

If I really think about it, I was more focused on ‘work’ than ‘exercise’. And in fact, those were just my thoughts as ‘excuses’.

If you ask myself "Do I like to exercise?", I'm sure the answer is 'I like it' even though I'm not good at it.

Even in the midst of being busy, I kept my stamina by doing various sports such as running, yoga, cycling, and hiking little by little.

I have been slackened, but I will find my opportunity to lose weight and aim to find my workout balance by surpassing my yesterday.
