The Power Comp saddle features a stiff, carbon-reinforced shell and a Body Geometry…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
The Power Comp saddle features a stiff, carbon-reinforced shell and a Body Geometry design that caters to all riders. Where it differs, however, is a matter of rails—Cr-Mo rails to be exact. This means that you sacrifice some weight savings, but otherwise, you receive the same superior performance in all seating positions—especially aggressive ones. Proven through blood flow testing and pressure mapping, and featuring our medium-grade Level 2 PU padding, the extra wide and elongated Body Geometry channel and proper sit bone support provides all-day comfort.

This saddle came on my bike. Using it has been one of the most painful experiences. Next time I'll just buy saddle rails, mount them, and sit on them instead. Does it need a break-in time or something? Because it felt like I was just sitting on the rails. Now I have swelling near my Ischial tuberosities.
I like the saddle, but I have two that have developed a creaking noise in less than a year.
Great saddle. Very comfortable on long rides across all types of riding I’ve done (MTB, gravel, road).
The saddle is not as comfortable as i thought and also it has an annoying sound where the metal rail meets the plastic under the saddle
This came with my Epic Evo I rode this for a while, then switched to Ergon assuming it was better “scientifically”. Was not Then switched to Bontrager, then switched to WTB. After all the various saddle swaps, I am the prodigal rider came back full circle to this saddle. And just love it. Such a great saddle for XC/light trail riding. Now that I know I like, am considering taking the plunge to the S-works version to drop approx 100 grams.
Gret quality and love that it comes in widths for big guys like me. Put it on my new Chisel. Rides, feels, and looks great.
The 143 works great for me. The saddle is comfortable, even on the longer rides and designed well for movement while racing. I have three of them, one for each of my bikes.
Super comfy, stylish, durable, light, love the swat mounting to hold the specialized saddle bag. This is on my Epic Evo for endurance rides on all day rides
Nice fit for me
Love the supportiveness of this bike saddle, now I can ride the same duration with less crotch discomfort. The short nose design is also a plus for me since it's easier to get on and off the bike. I had a 143mm Allez stock saddle which was a bit small for me. The new 155mm size saddle, which I found through sizing video and charts, fits much better than the old one. So please check the sizing before buying!
Seats are entirely individual body specific, that said the number of positive reviews cannot always be wrong. For me this is the holy grail of seats and you'll be taking these from my cold, dead hands :)
Comfortable, quality saddle which provides an excellent riding experience.
Love this seat!
Awesome saddle. Will be buying another for the other bike soon.
Great saddle
I was looking for a more padded „everyday saddle“ for my casual city commuting bike, but tried a few higher-end options out of curiosity. Even though this model has only 2/5 padding, it felt perfecly shaped and more comfortable on my bone structure than a 4/5 Selle Royal or 5/5 Specialized padded model. My weight is evenly distributed and supported, with zero pressure points. A+++ comfort!
Fantastic saddle that solve all of my issues on the bike. I followed the measurement guide and found the correct width saddle. It is only a couple mm wider than my previous saddle, but the difference is night and day. This saddle is actually wide enough to support my sit bones. I'm now putting more weight on the saddle and less on my shoulders, wrists, and hands. No more pain or pins and needles in my upper body. No more soreness in the perineum. No more pins in needles in the perineum thanks to the support and the cut out.
One of Spesh's best two saddles (the other one is the Phenom).
This seat is fantastic - just the right amount of padding and firmness.
I bought this saddle on the recommendation of a friend who loves it but it's not for me. I have been riding on this saddle on my cyclocross for over a year now and it's very comfortable, at first. In the first 30-40 minutes, it's great - it's supportive, comfortable, and shaped well for my posture and motion. After then, I get saddle pain forward of my sit bones. The shape really works for me so I'm giving the Mimic a try before moving off to another brand or style.
I utilize nothing but Specialized saddles on all 8 of my bicycles.
A great saddle, I like it. Have one on my Tarmac and Venge. An awesome climber’s saddle. Light weight and small so you barely feel it when throwing your bike side to side out of the saddle (Slightly heavier with a small saddlebag attached) and doesn’t hit you in the back of the legs like a longer saddle might do. It has just enough curve at the back and saddle material has good grip to keep your butt from sliding off the back and planted in place when putting the power down up hills. It can be a little pinchy if you spend too long forward on the nose as it is short and narrow, but right in the middle sweet spot it’s perfect for hundreds of miles per week on your bike. I am 6’-2” 170 lbs and have narrow hips so the 143mm size is good for me. Bigger butts, go wider.
An improvement in comfort, but not as good as expected. I would say a 20% improvement
Seats are a very individual choice. This saddle is now on 3/4 bikes. Absolutely no skin sores and no friction points for me. Climbing is a strong point for this saddle
I am truly speechless i went to a bike shop told them what kind of issues I was having with my bike seat and I am riding a trek speed concept and I have had a few other type of seats . The gentleman measured me and ordered me the right size and when I installed it, did a 15 mile ride just to see how it feels and I tucked in and never cam back up for any type of adjustment that's how comfortable it was . I was even faster on the uphills because when I was peddling hard on a hill my old seat would really bother me this one nothing absolutely flawless . Great job
Fits well for me Helps relieve pressure in the middle
A friend gave me one of these saddles a year ago, and I liked it so much better than my old Roman that I put the same saddle on my 2nd bike.
Best purchase of my life!!!
Well, not quite... but you never know. Either way, this is a seriously good saddle that is really comfortable in every possible position you could be on the bike.
Very comfortable. Needed a saddle with the middle cutout, and enough support outside the cutout area. This one meets those needs for me. Good price also.
Great saddle, padding and shape is awesome. Looks are nice. I would like it a little flatter in the rear for upright position, it does lock you in a more forward position. Great over long rides.
Highly recommend.
I got a piece of cardboard to measure my sit bone width to get the correct size. I replaced my old saddles with the Power Comp and finally stopped having discomforting sit bone pain. I was using an older Phenom 2 made for MTB/Road that gave me pain after about 10 miles. Now, I hardly feel anything similar to the previous pain after 40 miles. It's quite comfortable and I'm enjoying long rides again. I especially notice a difference when in the drops. It allows for more leaned over/aggressive riding.
This saddle came with my brand new bike, and it's extremely comfortable. The key is to have it adjusted specifically for your sit bones, because there is no room to wiggle
Came on my epic evo. I've been riding many years. I've never ridden a saddle this comfortable. I totally forgot about it on the first ride, which indicates just how comfortable this saddle is. Cheers to the engineers who came up with this design!
Got fit for a saddle when I got my new bike and my shop recommended this one. Took a trial sit on it with not chamois and was immediately surprised at how comfortable it was. Went out on a first ride and it was so comfortable, I completely forgot about it. No pains, numbness, or after ride soreness. It's easily the best saddle I've ever ridden and I've tried a lot. My mountain bike has an Ergon saddle (which replaced the torture device that came with the bike) and it's very comfortable but now I'm thinking of replacing it for another power saddle.
Wide enough, flat, padded just as much as needed. Comfortable for six hours ride.
Overall a great saddle, very comfortable once its set up correctly. It cardles the sit bones very well and its usable even without a chamois. Not a lot of room to move around if that is what you are in to, so consider that. Compared to the Bontrager Aeolus saddle, this padding is much more forgiving and usable. Would definitely buy again for my gravel bike.
This saddle originally came with my Diverge. It fit perfect. I've never had any saddle sores or discomfort on long rides. Highly recommended if you want something a bit wider than the Phenom.
I had read how you can get measured for Specialized seats and decided to try as the seat that came with my road bike was not so comfortable. I went to a dealer got measured and then ordered my seat. This seat fits my sit bones and makes my ride a lot more comfortable. Plus nothing touching the seat goes to sleep anymore.
It came with Venge Pro, I much prefer a saddle I can move around on. I move forward on hills and sprints and back for motoring. This saddle is quite wide in the back, creating a pressure point for me when motoring. Replaced with my well worn Toupe.
I put 1,300 miles on a Tarmac Expert, equipped with a Toupe saddle and hated it. Had constant sciatica issues, even after an extensive bike fit. Two months ago, insert the 2020 Roubaix Comp... equipped with the Power saddle and BOOOOM!! My hips are locked in, sciatic pain gone, and mileage is no issue. As an example, I rode 40 miles and sprinted to the finish after 2hrs in the Power saddle. Where as before, the Toupe required at least two breaks on the ride, to account for stretching and pain. Can't say enough good things about the Power saddle, put one on my Tarmac, and now I have two speed weapons that I'm locked into. Stoked:-)
I have always been a Selle guy because that's all I knew. After having this saddle recommended to me by the fine folks at Boone Bike and Touring, (NC) I will never go back! No creaks, no numbness, just a comfortable ride for hours on the bike! I will be putting this saddle on my mountain and cyclocross bikes.
The saddle is reasonably comfortable and works just fine, however the construction quality is not as I would have expected. Having ridden probably 1000 miles on it, the top part now seems to be making a creaking noise when I ride. I have always liked Specialized saddles but am a little disappointed with the quality of this one.
Did lots of research on a new saddle, am a purist meaning I like to stay with Specialized components. This saddle replaced my Toupe RBX Gel. Power has zero padding, cover and then hard shell. 20 miles into 60 mile ride I was sore. Cover does not fully wrap saddle so lots of thigh rubbing between cover and shell. Saddle nose way too short, lots of rubbing and chaffing. Toupe was a great saddle, very comfortable, I should have kept it.
The shorter seat is different but easy to get used to. It came with my new Rubaix. I've had numbness for years with other seats but NONE with this one. I put one on my mountain bike and commuter bike as well
I've tried many saddles over the past 2 years and always seem to come back to this one for the sake of comfort/performance. If you get the correct size this saddle is the one for all day cycling.
No comfort guarantee. I ride endurance and typically spend two to three hours on my bike wearing only minimal padding. At the thirty mile mark it becomes uncomfortable and gets worse from there. I'm heavier at 6'2"" and 240lbs though, using the 168mm size. I have ridden shorter ten or fifteen mile rides with no padding without feeling discomfort. High quality, looks brand new a year and many miles later. I'm going to have to try a leather saddle for long distance though.
The seat provides a comfortable ride, however the top part of the seat separated from the molding form, pinching the upper thigh as I rode. Seems like a lot to pay for a seat that is not durable.
A word of advice - know your sit bone span before buying. Getting the wrong width will result in unpleasantness. Get it right, and it is comfort beyond imagination. It's on all of my bikes.
Since first trying the power saddle I've become hooked. I use the saddle on my mountain and road bikes.
At first I questioned the look of the stubbiness of this saddle, but ended up loving it. It has a nice wide rear of the saddle for support, and then the shortness of the front of the saddle is great because it doesn't get caught up in your shorts.
