The Ground Control 2Bilss with

The Ground Control 2Bilss with Gripton 29x2.3 is the best cross county (or trail) Front Tire for use in all conditions, especially loose gravelly, rocky and sandy or soft dirt with some hard pack all mixed in. Adept on trails with sharp turns and soft berms. Provided excellent steering and cornering traction. Rolls fast. Works extremely well when paired with a Fast Trak Control 29x2.1 on the rear wheel.

Very good tyre

Used as a front tyre for XC and trail riding on a HT. Really good front grip and very predictable in corner. Way better than a Fastrak. Never had one issue with thr Ground Control tyre. Then I switched to a Schwalbe Racing Ray 2.25 and it lacked grip by comparison with the Specialized GC.
