Women's RBX Comp Thermal Knicker

Cold legs make for bad rides, and bad rides are no fun. Lucky for you, the Women's RBX Comp Thermal Knickers keep your legs toasty on chilly days.

And to top off the comfort, we've used our Body Geometry 3D Contour Chamois with a variable density design that places support and padding where you need it, not where you don't.

Thermal capris

I live in a warm state so ordered these thermal capris as a second option to my fleece lined pants. I was surprised that these are not fleece lined. The fabric is different than the RBX Comp shorts, so they may be warmer but I was expecting fleece. Honestly, thermal doesn’t equal fleece, even though it does in my head. These capris are a lower rise than the RBX Comp shorts. They are very cute! I look forward to using them in the fall.

These are NOT thermal

Buyer beware! I bought a pair of these for my wife. These are NOT thermal. Specialized says they are fleece lined but I would beg to differ 100%. Poor advertising on Specialized. If you’re looking for normal bib knickers for cool weather, these may be the way to go. However, these do not hold up well in cold temps.

NOT THERMAL

Although these are super nice, comfy & functional they are NOT thermal. Rather simply amazing lightweight knickers.

Not Thermal

I initially thought I was simply sent the wrong product as the the tag on the knickers doesn't say thermal and they are extremely thin and in no way seem to be for cold weather use. Upon researching more the product numbers match and the ones I received are supposed to be the "thermal" ones. I wish I had seen the other reviews before ordering these because they aren't going to cut it for Colorado winter riding which is really disappointing.

Not Thermal

They are not thermal. I put them on and walked out when it was only 47 degrees, and immediately could feel the cold on my legs. The quality of the material may be good but it is thin. Not anything like my RBX specialized biking shorts that I love. These would have to be worn under or over something warmer. I do like the chamois design and have found RBX design suits my needs in that area. So I’ll take these as a loss and try them in the spring or early fall months. Still would like their long pants but with thicker material.

Thin

I purchased hoping they could be used as a warm thermal layer. However, they were very thin. The waist is lower than I prefer as well. Not what I expected but I will be able to use them for a different purpose.

Not Thermal at all

I was really excited to get these in time for the colder weather. Unfortunately, when I received these they were not thermal and you can actually see through them. I checked the item number and it matches the one on the web site. I am keeping them anyway for warmer weather as they are very comfortable but now I am left without the thermal knickers I was hoping for.

Not thermal, waistband too low

First, these are not a bib knickers as the description states. But I knew that because the photo didn't show a bib, so I called customer service to confirm. But I was told on the phone that these were very thermal. I thought that would be fine going into winter. When they arrived I was totally surprised to find the knickers are made of the thinnest lycra imaginable. When I tried them on I noticed that the waistband was just above my pelvic bones and seemed like it would roll down while riding. (The photo hides this fact with a jersey pulled over the waist) I'm a size small, 5'5", 112 lbs. Finally, the cute little notch at the bottom band on the calf serves no purpose except to permit the knickers to ride up your leg instead of staying put.
