Supacaz Fly Cage Ano

I like these cages. They were a bit whippy when installed on my Tarmac, but they looked nice. Held the bottles decently, but not perfectly on bumps. 3 years into ownership, both broke within 3 days from each other. Both broke just above the higher mounting bolt. Not good quality I'd say.

Got these bottle cages with a Tarmac I bought. Great looking but the paint and coating comes off every time I take a water bottle in and out of the cage. After a few months, I'm down to bare metal. Ridiculous.

Have 2 of these on my bike. Coating flakes off very quickly - one only lasted 2 months before it was almost all off (was refunded, to be fair). They need to sort out the production process, especially given the cost.

Purchased these as a gift for my boyfriend and within 3 months the coating started to peel off. Cool to look at but not worth the money.

Updating a previous review. Originally, I loved this product, but after 8 months the anodized look has started to entirely peel especially at the top of the bottle cage. All I have done with the cage is pull the water bottles out and put them back in. I live in Los Angeles so typically the conditions are very favorable as well. The cages have huge chunks of coating missing which ruins the entire aesthetic which, I assume, is why most would buy this specific item. I wish I could attach a picture to explain what I mean. So if you want to spend $100 every 8 months on bottle cages, this is the product for you. Otherwise, you might as well just spend $170 on titanium Silca cages and not have to worry about this.

The coating has come off all ready

First off, these bottle cages look amazing. The color, shape, and the way they reflect light definitely add some bling to any bike. Plus, it goes great with my oil-slick chain. They're very light and seem pretty sturdy. I use them on my road bike and have had zero issues with them holding bottles appropriately. The only reason I give this 3 stars (and maybe hesitate to recommend them) is the durability of the coating. I've had these cages for a few months now and I already have a chip in the coating. It's a fairly sizable chip so I'm worried that it may continue to chip away until the entire color is gone. You can see scratches and rub marks from pulling bottles in and out of the cages. So although I love the look I am not sure they would be worth replacing if the coating is going to rub off that quickly. So depending on what you want out of the cages you may or may not want to invest.

I bought 3 of these cages in spring of 2022 to replace broken cages on my road bike and mountain bike. On the road bike my bottles will bounce out of the cages while riding rough roads. On my mountain bike I have had to stop multiple times to retrieve my bottle on the trail. My broken cages did a better job. Would not recommend

These cages are great! Bought two and they a very light, lighter than the plastic cages I replaced. Best of all, the bottles are the easiest to remove and insert while riding yet will not move once inserted. I am very happy with them and would definitely purchase again.

Just finished my second purchase from The Pros Closet and couldn’t be happier. I required a little telephone support due to what ended up being a loose connection to the seat post batter on my Specialized Tarmac, but I got it fixed at the bike shop, sent The Pros Closet the bill and got a full refund. They sell only the best products and they support them well. I will definitely buy all my future bikes from them.

Great cage. Fast service. More than reasonable price. Only complaint (slight) is the color. Lighter in color than expected when compared to real thing.
