LAKE EMOSSON

With its 1930 m altitude and a maximum depth of 161 m, the Emosson lake is located in Switzerland in the Trient valley. With a reservoir capacity of 227 million m3, it’s dam is dedicated to the production of hydroelectric power.

The dam is accessible by road and by a funicular-train-funicular ride. The Châtelard funicular is the first used from the bottom of the valley, it is the steepest 2-cabin funicular in the world with an 87% gradient. It is also accessible by amaizing singletracks, which way up did Max take?

THE TURBO LEVO SL

MAX’S POINT OF VIEW

“The SL technology allows me to reach high altitude during the off season when the ski lifts are closed like here at the Emosson dam above 2000m. Nothing like a long descent with a lot of vertical drop, going through all types of terrain, vegetation and temperatures! The Levo SL allows you to go further, faster and ride more, while maintaining the liveliness and responsiveness of a classic bike.”

“Its weight and suspension offer agility and liveliness worthy of a classic bike, thanks to its engine, its autonomy, it allows you to expand your playground to explore higher, and further. The Levo SL is a classic, but electric. It’s the best of both worlds.”
