Venge Pro - SRAM Force eTap AXS

2020 Venge Pro - SRAM Force eTap AXS

We aren't satisfied with second fastest. Hell, why do you think we have our own Win Tunnel and the motto that "Aero is Everything?" We live and breathe aero, because we know that aerodynamic optimization is the most important thing we can do to make you faster. And this philosophy has never been truer than with this Venge. Being eight seconds faster than the ViAS, it's not only the most aerodynamic bike on the road, but it's also lost a whopping 460 grams. It's the perfect race bike for just about any terrain. Aero is Everything.

As with all of our pro-level bikes, the Venge Pro eTAP delivers similar performance to its older S-Works sibling, but at a more palatable price. SRAM's new Force eTAP AXS 12-speed groupset handles shift and braking duties, while the Roval CL 50 carbon fiber wheels slice through the wind. Top that off with an S-Works handlebar and seatpost, as well as the fan-favorite Power saddle, and you're ready to tackle anything from a local road race to your first gran fondo.

Genuinely love this bike

This is my first Specialized bike, came from a couple of other brands. I have to say that I genuinely love this bike. Responsive, fast and pretty light for an aero disc brake bike

Your Next Bike

Spec'ed with the same frame as the S-WORKS Venge and eTap AXS Force, this purchase was a no brainer. The paint truly takes things to the next level, and is a headturner for sure. I'm about 500mi+ into owning this machine, and couldn't be happier. Make the Venge Pro your next bike - you won't regret it.

Truly a work of art - First 1000 KM review.

Aesthetically this bike is a work of art and surprisingly comfortable when compared to my previous Giant Propel. I decided to take the jump away from Shimano to the new SRAM Force and would now never go back. I often find myself shifting back and forth on the rear cassette fine tuning cadence to suit road gradient, conditions etc. SRAM AXS app works well and updating firmware is easy. The Roval 50's as soon as they are at speed hold with ease and i haven't noticed any cross wind problems (nearly hit a 1000km with no incidents). As it gets to speed in no time, it stops just as quickly with the fantastic SRAM Force Disc Brakes. The Aerofly bar is comfortable when cruising (resting palms). When sprinting the front end could be slightly stiffer as i receive a sound of disc rub when going full gas. The Garmin mount is perfectly integrated for a ""pro"" look. Paint job is absolutely beautiful up close and in the sun, but the lacquer isn't thick enough as it scratches easy. The plastic top cap of the aero stem fell off during a ride (Specialized are replacing it free of charge) but subsequently i have researched this is a common fault. My recommendation for Specialized would be to design some bolt-on tri bars similar to Cannondale. All in all this is a fantastic bike to which i am very pleased to be the owner. In 2-3 years i will not hesitate to buying the next generation of the Venge. I hope this real world review will help future buyers. Bottom line FANTASTIC BIKE!!!!!!

WOW!

I've owned the 1st Generation Venge for about 5yrs, so I thought I knew what I was getting (obviously with some refinement), but WOW! The 1st Generation Venge was always a stiff, but fast bike. This generation, just glides without effort and doesn't have the same spine shattering harshness of the original version. The other bonus, is this new generation stops! What a concept! I'm looking forward to a descent on the CL50's to see how they compare to the CL60's in a bit of cross wind... will see, should be good! My wife even commented that: ""this is best looking bike I've owned"" The teal green gloss really shines in the sun. Bottom line: Pretty happy right now!
