Touring/training. I'd read reviews about the heel being tight, even sore until broken in. Not for me. They are totally comfortable right away. I might not even have to add the ++footbed I bought with them thanks to the great shape. One star off for arriving with plastic cleats with one bolt in each. That's a bit of a slap. I'd feel less annoyed if they'd arrive with no cleats, but ideally I'd like to have been sold cleats with the shoes.

Whether you race or just go after strava segments on your local trails these are the shoes you want, light weight, perfect fitment and puts all the power to the pedals and best of all they look amazing !!

This shoe may be an XC shoe but it does it all! From the casual gravel ride to Xterra world champs this year this shoe has been incredible. Much like a golden slipper I have yet to get a blister with socks or not (Yes I'm a triathlete) That combines with the fact that they are stiffer than a brits upper lip we have a winner all the way around! I even picked up a second pair for when or if these ever give up.

It's been a year riding in these shoes so time for a review; Best fit I've ever had in an MTB shoe, the mid foot and heel are held perfectly and comfortably snug and always fine tunable during my rides and toes and forefoot always comfortable. Could not imagine any better power transfer. I ride in them over 20 hours a week and they still look like they are 1 month old, not one year old. Well worth the price.

The fit of this shoe is amazing. The boa system allows me to really fine tune the fit and keeps my foot locked in place without any pain or pressure points, making them very comfortable. The thing I love the most is the performance of this shoe. The stiffness and responsiveness maximizes power to each pedal stroke, and they are super light! They've been great for punchy, technical mountain bike rides and even 200 mile gravel races.

Simplicity is nice so the fact that these shoes are stiff enough for me to use on road and gravel rides while also being able to race xc/short tracks with them is awesome. I also use them while on my trail bike which makes long days and big climbs a touch easier. This has become my only shoe for riding. 3 bikes, 3 styles, 1 shoe. They fit like slippers too! Also, BOA offers free replacement dials. After 1 year of riding my BOAs died (last week) and after filling out a simple form on the BOA website, I had new dials within 3 days. Simple.

I have been riding very serious for the past 5 years and I have tried most shoes in this price range even been given comparable shoes... I Have always come back to the S-works shoes and said they are worth the price tag. Best fit, Highest quality, and best-looking mtb shoe made.

I have a couple pair of these and love them. I've tried s-phyre, mavic, sidi, etc. None of these match the fit, durability and overall functionality of the s-works 6. They're also comfortable during hike-a-bike.
