Men's RBX Shorts with SWAT™

When it comes to choosing the perfect cycling shorts, comfort is everything. Whether you're going fast or just cruising', it's important to know that you'll be comfy. For riders who want premium materials, superior fit, and technologies that you won't find anywhere else, the new RBX Shorts w/ SWAT™ are the jam.

The soft four-way stretch fabric and articulated design ensure a perfect fit, but where the real comfort comes is from our Body Geometry Contour 3D chamois. It features a pre-molded shape that matches the curve of your saddle, reducing wrinkles and hot spots. Top it off with a super soft top sheet to reduce friction and you're left with all day comfort.

Last, but certainly not least, these shorts include two SWAT™ side pockets that are secured into the panel seams to house valuables, like ice cream money and keys. Each pocket has clean, bonded edges that stretch, recover, and accommodate its contents with ease.

Like the side pockets

I have one riding season in these with swapping out with two other shorts of a different brand. I purchased these by recommendation of a bike shop since I have been out of cycling for many years. I have noticed after several washes that the shorts need pulled up quite a bit and when you walk around the shorts will start to fall down, your shorts looks like your drawers have a full load with the chamois sticking out. That was not the case at first. I really like the side pockets and the padding is quite adequate for long rides. If they added a draw string on these, that might cure the problem. I believe I will stay with LG. Sorry.

Good Shorts but Bad Chamois

I purchased this pair of riding shorts for several reasons (Specialized Brand and pockets). I like the material and fit. And, the pockets are a real plus. However, the one huge fault is the chamois. It is constructed as one flat piece. And as such, it doesn't bend when I get up out of the saddle to stand up and pedal. That makes it stick out from my buttocks and catch the seat! After a few stokes I can feel it trying to pull my pants down in the back. The actual material of the short stretches enough to not allow my pants to come off. However, it is annoying to have to reach around and pull them up. Specialized as a company puts a lot of research and testing into their products. Apparently though these shorts missed out on that. If the chamois had been designed, as a lot of riding shorts chamois are, with individual segmented portions instead of a single solid board, it would have been a great pair of riding shorts. Unfortunately, this one crucial fail (chamois) has made me give it such a negative rating. After all, isn't padding the main reason for using a pair of riding shorts?

Not Recomended (But Like the Pockets)

I like Specialized products because of there quality and design. However, these shorts do not live up to my previous experience with Specialized. The one big, and probably only thing, I don't like about them is the chamois. It is like a flat board. When I stand up on the bike to pedal, the stiff chamois juts out straight in the back. And, it catches on the seat when I pedal. Very uncomfortable. If they had designed these pants with a curved chamois it would be a great pair of riding shorts. Unfortunately this is not the case. I do like the pockets. But, since the chamois is such a disturbance for me when riding, I think these are not going to be used again. Spent too much to throw away so probably going to the bottom of my dresser drawer. Unfortunate. Don't know what to do with them now.

Love these so much I bought another pair. Then two more!

Love these so much I bought 4 pairs and they're all I ride in now. They fit great - they're so comfortable that I don't need Butt Butter. The pockets are threat too; they fit a phone and wallet perfectly, so you don't always need to wear a jersey with pockets.

Good fit and materials

Fits great and A+ materials and construction. Only improvement I would recommend is to make the pocket size bigger

Great Shorts

The shorts feel great and are extremely comfortable to ride in. This was the first pair of Specialized shorts I have purchased and was very pleased with overall comfort after several rides in them.
