The best bicycle of MANY I’ve ever owned!

The comfort and performance in this bike is unbelievable!. So much so that after one year of using my awesome Base carbon model, I am upgrading to a Pro carbon. I recommend this bicycle to anyone that loves cycling. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Bike for Road and Gravel

When I was considering moving away from my MTN bike (due to age), I was considering the purchase of either a Specialized Roubaix Expert Carbon or a Trek Domane SLR7 - but I wanted to enjoy gravel riding in addition to doing the roads. Once I test rode a Diverge, I was sold – the best of both worlds (road and gravel). I ordered the Pro Carbon from Landis and when it finally arrived, I was in love. In addition to being beautiful, the bike is amazingly fast – handles extremely well – and is just fun to ride. I have had the bike a little over a month and have ridden 182 miles so far on my Friday's off. The SRAM e-tap has been great, and I have had no problems whatsoever with the Eagle derailleur. Shifts very smoothly – cool sound shifting too. I highly recommend this bike to those who like gravel riding / road riding and speed.

Far Exceeds Expectations. All I Can Say Is ""WOW""

I have been riding gravel with my buddies on my Epic, but on long rides my shoulders hurt due to extremely bad arthritis. Even medium distance road rides on my Tarmac have become in comfortable. My last shot at riding was to get a bike with a more comfortable riding position that still reduced bumps and vibrations. While I expected the Diverge to be comfortable based on reviews I read, it far exceeded my expectations. I cannot explain how the Diverge is smoother than my full suspension Epic on gravel, but it definitely is. The future shock is for real. You don't even realize it's working until you start to wonder how this bike is riding so smooth. The big surprise is how smooth the rear end is. I expected some damping from the front, but how the design team got the rear end to be so smooth is an engineering feat. Rear seat stay flex, seat post flex, whatever, it works. The Power saddle is better than the Phenom on my other bikes, which is saying a lot. Another surprise was how quick it accelerated and how fast it was on the road. Climbing on tarmac or gravel was a breeze. I can sum it up by saying when my first ride was over, I was fresh, pain free and couldn't think of a single thing I would change, which is a first. All I did was wonder how something so fast could be so smooth. I have an Epic Expert, Stumpy Expert and S-Works Tarmac and I can say without reservation that this is the best bike I have ever ridden. Props to Lee at State Street Bicycles for a perfect setup!

Swiss Army Knife of Bikes

This bike is amazing, and does it all. I got back into cycling in the spring of 2019. By September I upgraded to the Tarmac Pro and loved it, but was intrigued by the idea of a gravel bike. In September of 2020 I took the plunge and decided to go all in with the Diverge Pro. From the first ride around the block I was hooked. So far I've been able to do all the mountain bike rides in my area. I love how you can leave from the house and make great time on the pavement and then merge onto the trail head without skipping a beat.

This bike does it all. I feel like I've arrived in heaven.

I've been through many Specialized bikes, road (Tarmac, Allez), cyclocross (three CruX's I raced) and mountain bike (Epic). And finally the Diverge. This is a new beginning for me. I've quickly learned I can take this bike anywhere: single-track, gravel, grass, pavement. And to my surprise, I am getting faster Strava PR times on pavement than with my feathery Tarmac. How's that happening? And I'm surprised to enjoy the Future Shock 2.0 on road so much, for all the ripples and bumps. It's not only for gravel. Okay, now I gotta leave the computer and go ride! Thanks you Specialized geniuses!
