DRY-TECH Fender Set

The DRY-TECH Fender Set is an engineered fender set with extended, research-based length for superior water protection. The fenders are made of a lightweight, yet highly durable, multi-material design, while the set has also been engineered in our very own Win Tunnel in order to see how water comes off the tire at speed. This serves to improve protection and to minimize water spray.

The fenders are available in three different sizes (35, 45, and 52mm), and they're designed to work on bikes with 700C wheels—with or without Specialized Plug + Play frame mounting. For a finishing touch, the fenders include heat-treated, lightweight aluminum fender stays with stainless steel hardware.

No replacement parts

I had the shop install them with a new Sirrus bike, but they slide up (especially the front) and the clamp holding the rod at the fender is plastic and broke with minimal use. No replacement parts so now zip-tied. Not what I expect from a Specialized product on the Specialized bike it was made for.

long tail

these mudguards displace the water brilliantly, but when home I need to get the bike up some steep steps and through a small door way 80cm wide. The steps are 45 degree and the rear guard hits the ground as I lift the front. As I flip the bike onto its back wheel to role it through a doorway, again the long tail rubber tail hits the ground. I removed the tail but am now left with some ugly holes and a sharp edge. would have been nice if they were supplied with a shorter tail so that you can remove the long tails if needed.

Difficult to fit

A great product but extremely difficult to fit, especially the back one. If possible get the store to fit them. The overall look is great.

Plug & play they were not

Mudguards purchased for my 3 year old Diverge. Advertised as 'plug and play' just as the bike was I found them impossible to fit as this bike has no seat-stay bridge. Most certainly not an easy fit option. So the product was very much below expectation. Return was impossible using the post-office because of the package dimensions. But helpline was exemplary and arranged collection and the refund was rapid. So customer service was excellent.

Excellent

Excellent mud guards just a bit fiddly to fit first time. Now I know what to do could probably have done it in 10 minutes. They work really well, I've been down some quite muddy and wet trails and my feet have kept dry and the bike wasn't too muddy either.

Specialized turbo creo mudguards

Not very easy to fit. All four plastic clamps at the mudguard broke quite soon after fitting. They are clearly not fit for purpose. Cannot get spares to replace. Noisy. Front fell off whilst riding. Have taken them off. Will replace with some more substantial ones.

Slightly trickier to fit than

Slightly trickier to fit than I at first thought and the installation instructions could perhaps have been more helpful. However, my Ikea self assembly skills got my through the process and so far so good - went out yesterday and my bum stayed dry!

Awesome mudguard

I've had a set of these fitted to my 2020 diverge comp carbon for just over 12 months and they are solid mudguards. Yes, there is no video to help with installation, but why does everyone need you tube before they can complete a simple task? My only negative is that the rear guard could do with a second stay to eliminate the vibration when on rough road surfaces. Sadly, the spares kits for these appear to be no longer available - which also means you can't do any running repairs!

Dry Tech Fender

The shop fitted these mudguards to my Sirrus Elite. They told me they were difficult to fit! I have had them 9 months and find the front guard sometimes extends (during a ride) further forward than normal and I have to manually slide it back into position. There does not seem to be an obvious way to tighten it in place. When out on the road, the front guard creates too much vibration & noise when riding on less than smooth tarmac......not sure quite why because I am trying to see where I am going and not look down at my feet ! But it might possibly be because the 'stays' are fitted abt 10"" from the ends and that allows the ends to whip left and right creating an annoying noise.

Yes cool fenders!

Nice looking and fairly easy to install, the bracket kit could use a few extra pieces just in case of a mistake.
