I will keep buying these tires until they don't make them anymore. I had stock Bontrager 28c tires on my Trek Domane. They were fine at first, but as I got stronger and faster, they felt like they were ""floating"" and although they had good traction, I felt disconnected with the road. That is really the only way I can describe it. When I had a flat that ended the life of my rear tire, a friend of mine sold me a set of these Specialized Turbos that came on his wife's Specialized bike (I had a group ride in the morning and no time to get to a LBS to get a new tire). I had been considering going down a couple sizes, but I didn't want to go too far down as I am still new to cycling, only 5 months in with about 1100 miles under my belt. So when he said they were an odd size, 26, I figured I'd try them. He told me I would probably notice some speed difference as they were much lighter than my existing tires and a different compound. Boy oh boy was he right!!! These tires are fast, and they have incredible traction, while not sacrificing what I call ""my connection to the road."" I go by feel and sound with many things and cycling is no different. I don't want to fee the bone jarring jitters of cobblestone, but I also don't want to feel like I am floating on top of the road. These tires are very responsive. I live in Florida, and ride in almost any weather. I haven't been in the rain with these yet, but I have been on wet pavement and asphalt. Again, they ride very nicely. I did catch a nasty tiny piece of glass on one of the paved trails, which punctured my tire badly enough to need a new one. (I did put about 80 miles on the tire after the puncture though) I just don't want to risk a blowout. I bought a new one today from one of our local Specialized dealers. In my opinion these are a hidden gem of a tire and 26c is a perfect balance between size/speed/comfort
