    2018 Stumpjumper Comp Alloy 29/6Fattie

Don't get us wrong—carbon is awesome. But when it comes to maintaining peace of mind while you're getting rowdy, nothing compares to the confidence of our alloy Stumpjumper Comp 29/6Fattie. It's light, rugged, and packed with all the spec and travel you need to run it wide open out on the trail.

It features an M5 alloy construction that's lightweight, durable, and plenty stiff and compliant, while SRAM's most durable one-by components have been hand-selected to ensure that you get the most performance over rugged terrain possible. To make things even better, the Stumpy's design also allows you the opportunity to toggle between 29-inch wheels and 6Fattie wheels (not included), allowing the ultimate in configuration options for the trail at hand.

And when you factor in our proprietary Rx Trail Tune at the shock, plus an aggressive, trail-eating geometry that features absurdly short chainstays, a roomy top tube, a low bottom bracket, and a slacked out front end, you get a trail bike that you can be confident in, season after season.

    Love this bike!

Ride over a lot of rocks and roots back east. It mows over anything in its path, and could climb a wall. Bottoms out on turns while peddling, because of low bottom bracket, but I've learned what I can get away with.

I love this bike, great bang for the buck

Really solid build for the price. Love the SRAM GX 11-speed setup, super smooth shifting and riding - love this groupset, best I've ever ridden for the performance/price combo. I assume the pricepoint on this bike is so good because SRAM recently upgraded this GX 11-speed to the GX Eagle 12-speed, so it's technically a bit outdated. But the few hundred $ savings is definitely worth it because it's still such a great setup. My only minor issue with this bike is that the geometry feels just a little bit small for a size large, but that's likely more of an issue with my own body's own geometry than the bike!

    Amazing bike

The 27.5+, 3.0 inch tires work as advertised. The traction is great and helps on climbs. A lot more nimble that what i expected it to be. Love the simplicity of the 1 x 11 drive train. This has become my primary bike to ride. Only problem was that one of the Guide R brake levers failed; but, that was replaced under warranty by the bike shop with no issues.
