    2019 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon

When you're ripping around the trail on the Turbo Levo Comp Carbon, there's no denying that you're on a fully-fledged trail bike. In fact, the only thing that feels turbo-charged about it is the massive smile on your face. That's because the new Turbo Levo houses all of the things you know and love about our newest trail bikes, like the Stumpjumper, and also gives you a little more power to the pedals. And with perfectly tuned kinematics, true Trail Geometry, and a new custom battery and motor, the power to ride more trails is yours.

The Turbo Levo is one of the lightest full-suspension e-mountain bikes to ever touch dirt. And much of its summer beach body is the result of what we learned while designing the latest Stumpjumper. Case in point is the new Sidearm frame design that gives it an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. Now, the bike is stiffer and has a lower-slung frame that's more capable on tough descents, even easier to maneuver in technical terrain, and uses less battery power. We've also lengthened the reach, kept the chainstays nice and short, slacked out the head angle, steepened the seat angle, and maintained a low center of gravity. You'll also find a new Flip Chip that lets you adjust the bottom bracket height and head angle in a matter of minutes. It's dialed.

We also managed to increase battery capacity. The bike now gets more distance out of every full charge via a new Specialized M2-500 battery with 500 Wh. The Smart Control feature, available with our Mission Control App, lets you set the power assist to last for either the duration of your ride or until you reach a point you've defined yourself. Battery status is now always on view with both the new Turbo Connect Unit and the optional handlebar-mounted Turbo Connect Display.

At the motor, we cut weight with a new magnesium-bodied Specialized 2.1 motor that amplifies your input by up to 410% with absolutely no awkward surges in power. Our engineers in Switzerland devoted years to making this a reality by creating custom software that drives the most cutting-edge motor in its class. And for the suspension, we redesigned it to give you even more control where you need it most. The initial travel is supple, but we added more mid-stroke support, so there's no wallowing about or blowing through your 150mm of suspension travel on big hits and drops.

This Turbo is also the smartest and best-connected e-MTB to date. Our Turbo Connect Unit is at the center of the top tube, and it connects the bike, via ANT+ and Bluetooth®, to both the outside world and the Turbo Connect Handlebar Display (available aftermarket). Speaking of which, the latest version of the Mission Control App now has more features and is simpler to use than ever before. It lets you easily custom-tune nearly every aspect of the bike, monitor your power use, control your range, perform basic system diagnoses, record and upload rides—there's even a new Shuttle Mode feature that takes the sting out of long climbs by giving you maximum motor support with less required effort at the pedals.

Every component delivers tons of fun at a tremendous value. This boils down to features like a FOX 34 Rhythm fork and DPS Performance rear shock, tough 29-inch alloy wheels cased in Butcher 2.6-inch tires, SRAM GX/S700 11-speed shifting, SRAM Guide RE brakes, and a FACT 9m carbon chassis with an M5 alloy rear-end.

    Outstanding Mountain EBike

Power assist very responsive. Suspension is dynamic and adjustment super easy to tune to rider and riding conditions. Braking is always there when you need it no matter the decent. Battery power is is long lasting according to assistance needed. Well worth the investment!!

    Most Fun Ever

I simply love this bike. I'm 64 this week and bought the 2019 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon last October 2018 only 3 months after left knee replacement, I was looking initially at the 2019 Levo Comp, aluminum frame but my dealer did not have it in my size so I stepped up $1000 to the Comp Carbon and couldn't be happier, money well spent. The bike looks great in the dark blue Carbon front triangle and I think it is the sweet spot in the line this year. Most importantly it is a blast to ride, I cover more miles, climb hills I would have walked and find the bike agile in the downhills. My wife saw me having a blast and went out a month later and also bought a EMTB and we have had great fun riding the hills in the Bay Area, Santa Cruz and Lake Tahoe together. I've had no problems to speak of other than ones I created myself by crashing and bending the brake lever etc. Wheel Away in Campbell is very knowledgeable about Specialized bikes and so glad I have them just 2 miles from my home. Having good dealer support is something I would not do without. I'm sure there will be advances in the coming years but the Levo line is state of the art in 2019. I could not be happier with this bike and see great reviews of the Levo and Kenevo bikes online confirming my great choice. I like the Mission Control app and appreciate the minimalist cockpit on the bike. I'm not an expert rider but this bike gives me confidence to take on new challenges and never lets me down.

    The fountain of youth!

I am in my mid sixties and this bike allows me to ride with my grand kids and kids. Riding like I did 30 years ago. Great exercise, instead of 5 to 7 miles in the woods doing 15 to 20.

    Prepare for fun

I have only rode a few weeks. 1st of all bike is heavy. Putting it in the truck is the hardest part. The bike loved down hills. Bottom bracket lower then my stump jumper FSR EVO expert. To be expected with a motor. I rode up every hill with ease. I got just as much exercise with this ebike as I did with my Stumpy. Maybe more, cause I was have that much fun. If your on the fence, like I was. Test ride! And let the new mountain Bike fun begin!
