Power Pro with MIMIC

For as long as there've been saddles, women have been having issues with them. But where some see unsolvable problems, we see practical solutions. With our patented design, MIMIC technology helps create a saddle that perfectly adapts to your body to give you the support you need.

And when you combine this technology with our lightweight Power Pro saddle, with its stiff, FACT carbon shell and hollow titanium rails, you get a high-performance saddle that's designed to help you perform at your best. It still features all of the Body Geometry design characteristics you know and love, so you can be assured of superior, all-day comfort in any ride position.

Mimic can be for men

Before gettting this saddle I did some research with Speiczlied. I learned that the MIMIC technology, although designed for women, can be used for men in order to alleviate pressure in the groin area. The MIMIC technology allows the pressure points on your sit bones to balance across the entire area of where you're sitting, rather than just on your sitbones. As someone who frequently rides for more than 5 or 6 hours at a time, I found that this saddle did exactly what it was meant to do. For me, it did a much better job than the regular Specialized Power saddle (without Mimic) at relieving pressure points, which allowed me to ride longer and more comfortably. Aside from the Mimic technology, I really found a favorite in the power saddle. Personally, I found that once I set up the saddle correctly, the shape of the saddle actually allowed me to pedal more strongly than with other saddles I've used in the past. It is worth noting that because the saddle is shorter than others it will require a different setup on the fore and aft positions than other saddles might. It's also worth noting that this saddle is going to be more aggressive than other saddles in both the cutout and support. When Specialized created this saddle they meant it to be for power. That being said, due to the shorter nose, there is less room to move forward and backward on the saddle, so if that's something you're looking to have on longer rides, you may want to consider something like the Romin saddle. If you've tried this saddle and have found that it doesn't fit well for you, I would personally recommend trying the Power Arc saddle as it has a slightly different curve but the same intended design. Overall this is a great saddle to start with if you're looking for a new saddle for road, gravel, cyclocross, or mountain. It's a saddle that does really well across all disciplines.

Just bought my second saddle; worth every penny!

I have had this saddle on my gravel/CX bike for about a year now; as others have said, it is a total game-changer -- no pain, numbness or other issues. My husband just got me a second one for my mountain bike as an anniversary gift. It's the first saddle I have had (in over 30 years of cycling) that made me feel like I was properly riding on my sit-bones, not my soft tissue. Just make sure to accommodate the shorter length and level it front-back when you are installing it, and you will be good to go.

Awesome saddle

I had gotten to the point where I hated to ride my road bike due to saddle pain. Since I got this saddle, I can ride everyday with NO PAIN!!! I love it - want a tri version for my tri-bike.

I own two and will purchase more

I love this saddle. I've ridden nearly 5,000 miles on road, gravel, trails and the trainer. While nothing is totally pain-free on a 50+-mile day, I find that by the next day I'm back to normal. It cuts the ride recovery time down a lot. I race cyclocross on this saddle and it's comfortable through all the jumping and course bumps. I would highly recommend, especially since it comes in various widths.

Game changer

Love this saddle, a real game changer and well worth the money. I tried the generic one that came with my Scott bike and after 20ish miles I had trouble walking for a few days. Then I borrowed my bf's Fizik cut out saddle for a while and it was better, but still painful on rides of 30+ miles. Since I've had this one I've done a 50 on the road, a 32 on trails and another 55 on road/trail and felt AMAZING. The front is just soft enough and the wide back gives support where I need it. Some mimic reviews talked about rubbing at the base of the seat and after the 55 I could feel how this might affect some but nothing that troubles me. It has enabled me to significantly increase my mileage and has given me confidence in the century I signed up for in Aug! I have also notice that post ride soreness around the sit bones is reduced and lasts for fewer days.

Insanely Awesome

It has made all the difference in the world! I had to buy another one for my 2nd bike ... it's impossible to go back. The comfort has made biking even better... not sure why they hadn't designed a seat for women before.

Comfortable from day one

The saddle has been comfortable since day one! Still getting used to the smaller and shorter saddle, but the comfort level is awesome!

Great saddle

I was having real issues with my previous saddles and inner thigh/sit bone discomfort. That's gone with this saddle.
