2019 Fatboy

Going fat isn't just a fun way to ride—it's a ride revolution. The security and control that the wheel system found on our Fatboy provides is unparalleled. You get dramatically more traction, grip, and floatation than with traditional mountain tires, all without sacrificing much to climbing efficiency.

The end result is easy to explain—you have way more fun. And to make sure of it, we built the Fatboy with a durable list of components, like a SRAM 11-speed one-by drivetrain, that are low-maintenance and eager to perform season after season. Have more fun—go fat.

LOVE LOVE LOVE My Fat Boy!

Bought my Fat Boy in September 2019 after buying my first bike since I was a kid in May of 2019 (also a Specialized) as I wanted to ride in the winter/snow. I have rode this Fat Boy in mud, dirt, rocks, snow and through creeks and it just keeps going! I have not had one issue with the bike and it is tons of fun!! Just got done with a 26 mile Fat Bike race through single/double track, snow mobile trails and gravel roads. Bike performed wonderfully!! If you think you want a fat bike this is it!

What a BLAST!

I just got a 2016 FatBoy off of FaceBook and WOW!!! I was expecting to have an easy time in North East winter conditions, but I never expected to have so much fun on a bike as I do this FatBoy.

Versatile and fun!!!

I bought this bike when it was first released because it was one of the first fat bikes to handle and feel like a mt bike. Not only is it fun on typical singletrack, but it's a blast in the snow, sand, leaves, mud, ice (with studded tires)...the worse the conditions, the more fun this bike is!

High Performance Fat Tire Bike

I bought my Fat Boy in 2014 and have had a ton of fun. I've ridden it many miles on many beaches along Monterey Bay CA and beyond including the giant dunes in Marina CA. I've gotten it wet in the ocean many times, sand on the chain, sand on the frame this bike keeps going, of course proper maintenance helps but this is a quality performance bike! With the carbon fork and 4.6 tires the bike corners like a Porsche in dirt! But the bikes performance really shines in the high steep sand dunes of Marina CA, it is here that it's maneuverability, climbing and descending make sand biking there so much fun! also, I've taken it to many festivals in the Bay Area, always get's people's attention and met good people because of it. Best fun on a bike for only $2K!

Fun factor = 10!!!

I've been really happy overall with my Fatboy. I've ridden it in dry and wet singletrack, as well as beaches and snow, it goes great and the big tires are a blast! It's such a fun bike to ride!

I would buy this bike again and again

In fact I did. My wife and I are the proud owners of Fatboys. Handles exceptional, ideal weight and quicker than I thought. If you remember that feeling you had when you got your first bike as a kid it's the same thing.
