Specially designed right-hand loading Zee cage with a pivoting upper cage and locking lower mount that helps to mount a Specialized Full Power 3.1 system 280-Wh range extender battery securely into the bottle cage.

For use with the Specialized X2-280-Wh range extender battery.
Unique pivoting upper cage and lower locking mount secure the range extender securely in the frame.
Fits all frame sizes.

Mine broke!

I have the Gen 4 Levo and the range extender, which I use frequently as a standalone “lightweight” battery. Mounting this battery is a bit fiddly, and requires you to flip the lip at the top end of the cage, getting it out of the way so your bottle will clear the mechanism. Well, props to Specialized for engineering a sturdy mount for the battery. 5 stars. As for the bottle cage, it seems like an afterthought. The flip mechanism is hard to operate, and feels like you’re gonna break it every time you use it. You just have to force it. What’s more, mine broke off while simply carrying a bottle. My Spec. dealer was kind enough to get me another one off a new bike right away. Let’s see how long this one lasts.
