2021 Allez Sprint LTD - SRAM Force eTap AXS 1x

We created the all-new Allez Sprint by cannibalizing the Tarmac SL7. We tore the Tarmac apart, and rebuilt it from alloy with our Smartweld technology. We leveraged every innovation and insight learned during its development to create the all-new Allez Sprint. Whether chasing a National title or attacking your buddies 15 minutes into an “easy” Sunday spin, we won’t be offended if you mistake the Allez for a Tarmac SL7. Some may call it a carbon copy, we call it the World’s First Alloy Super Bike.

The Allez LTD Exceeded my expectations

This is my third Allez. I upgraded to this bike from the 2018 Red Hook edition because I wanted disc brakes. The bike is more aero and seems faster on the flats but suffers on the steeper climbs due to the 1x gearing and heavier frame. Not a fan of the SRAM brakes though, noisy on hard braking, and I burned through my first set of front pads in 1400 miles! I do like the simplicity of the 1x, and the built-in Quarq power meter is reliable. I was unsure about the color of the bike posted on the Specialized site, but in person, it is beautiful to look at. The new version of the Aerofly handlebar is super comfortable, this goes for the saddle as well. The bike handling is precise, and no power is lost with flex as this frame is very stiff but not harsh.
