Renegade 2Bliss Ready

The Renegade 2Bliss Ready tire is suitable for both XC training and racing with its light, grippy, and supple properties. Accordingly, it's perfect for fast accelerations and climbing in hard-pack terrain. It has a fast-rolling tread design with all-new knob blocks, enhancing cornering traction and creating better braking effectiveness. Compared to its S-Works sibling, this 2Bliss Ready version has a tread pattern that's slightly wider and denser in order to better protect the tire against cuts and pinch flats. The Renegade 2Bliss Ready also comes with GRIPTON compound, which greatly increases handling under all trail conditions.

Very good tire for the paved bike trail and easy mountain bike trail. Light enough and tubeless.

Really great price, but they

Really great price, but they do not hold air well. I have plenty of sealant in them, but they still seep about 12 lbs. of air out over night. The side walls seem to be very flimsy, maybe leaking there, but I cannot find any sealant coming out. Overall, they are fast rolling and grip hard-pack very well. Though I would suggest mainly rolling on paved surfaces and stay off the rough stuff with them. The thin side walls are a worry in advanced off-road cases. So my rating is an overall Okay, but I would recommend them as Good, as street only tire.

I have no idea why

I have no idea why Specialized would be asking me to review a discontinued product. Someone needs to check the software that sends out review requests. That said, the tires are almost 50 grams heavier than stated, but they set up tubeless fine, and are quiet on the pavement. They are also good in the dirt, despite the small knobs.
