2019 Men's Rockhopper Pro 1X

If you're ready to take your trail riding to the next level, let us introduce you to your new friend, the Rockhopper Pro 29 with a one-by groupset. We built it to be light, durable, and exceedingly capable, but how we did it is far more interesting.

It starts with our new A1 SL alloy frame that features Boost™ QR 141 spacing, internal cable routing, and optimized tube shapes that save weight and give clean lines to the frame. Lastly, our Sport XC 29 geometry adjusts the reach, angles, and standover height to make for an improved fit across the size range. This is sure to keep you ripping and confident while heading both up and down the trail.

This Rockhopper comes spec'd with Shimano SLX 1x shifting that's simple and worry-free, powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes that'll stop on a dime, and a grippy combo of a Ground Control front and Fast Trak rear tires that deliver superior control over almost any kind of terrain.

I love this bike.

I got my 2018 pitch stolen and replaced it with this. Super great out of the box. Suspension fork is great. Super easy to dial in. I only wish it came with tubeless tires but that is on my list of upgrades for the future. Pedals also not the best but a pretty cheap upgrade for about $50.

Great entry bike for getting ready for a race MTB

Bought this as my 2. mtb, and this is by far the top one i tested before investing. Love the components on it for trail riding, can also be suitable for more techy trails with drops, jumps and gaps, if a dropperpost is installed. Love it! Next bike will be an Epic, since i will start racing.

Good not great

I had a Trek Marlin 5 and rode the heck out of it and it still works. This bike is extremely light in comparison. On the fifth time I rode this bike the left crank arm fell off. This bike also feels very long and gives you back pains as you are riding. I still like this bike a lot just feels a bit overpriced. Would recommend this bike to a friend if it were cheaper.

Replaced old frame with this one

This is the sixth Rockhopper I have enjoyed. I got this frame because I cracked my 2017 frame at the bottom bracket weld (not to worry, I'm a Clydesdale). I love this frame! There is just something about the RH geometry that fits me, and I find the balance and handling second to none. I did transfer over all of my old components to this frame which suit me well, so I cannot comment on the components that the bike comes with. I would, however and without hesitation, recommend this same bicycle to anyone looking for a lightweight, bulletproof, well-balanced and surefooted hardtail.

Great Geometry frame.

Just bought this MTB last month Dec 2018. It took me 3 months to make my decision because I had to evaluate what type of real riding I am gonna do. The bike has not fail me so far and it actually did what its suppose to do for my type of rider and style of riding, of course many thanks to Wheel Away Campbell CA for fitting to the right bike. Its only been a month but I ride 3 times a week flat and trail. This bike is built
