Torch 2.0 Road Shoes

Delivery Icon

We deliver! Just say when and how.

If you're ready to step up to a higher-performing option that looks good and feels great, the Torch 2.0 is the perfect upgrade for you. The Torch 2.0 is the ideal intersection of high performance and comfort, offering you a pair of shoes you can count on, whether you’re joining their first group ride or clipping into the spin bike to get their sweat on.

Body Geometry Methodology: The human body evolved to walk, not pedal, which leads to power-robbing foot collapse, misalignment of the foot, knee, and hip, as well as “hot foot” in traditional cycling shoes. The Torch 2.0, like every Body Geometry shoe, helps solve these problems with three patented technologies - Varus Wedge, Longitudinal Arch & Metatarsal Button - to deliver a pain-free increase in power that’s validated by scientific testing and two decades of well-documented ass kicking.

Comfort: For a secure fit, the Torch 2.0 utilizes a singular, premium Li2 Boa dial with Dyneema softlace cables - comprised of a fiber that eliminates unnecessary stretch and uses soft woven guides for added comfort. Additionally, the fully perforated, seamless upper eliminates stitching within the shoe that can cause irritation to the top of the foot. The seamless upper is also fully laser-perforated for increased ventilation.

Off-Bike Confidence: Large rubber grips on the outsole of the toe and heel provide a stable, grippy platform for a seamless transition off the bike and into your local coffee shop and provide more confidence for riders when pushing off pavement to clip in or coming to a stop at a traffic light.  All in all, the rubber grips help the shoe grab onto concrete for a worry-free, stabilizing feel when not clipped in.

Doubt anyone would find these comfortable

Look great. Wide enough. Really wanted to like them but the tongue is too long making them unwearable due to rubbing at ankle joint. Couldn’t wear them for even the shortest ride. Can’t believe Specialized has put their name to these shoes. I’ve worn Specialized for the last 15 years and now have changed because of these shoes.

Not a good fit

I wear a 11&1/2 so tied on a 46(12) and it was too long so I thought the 45.5 would be the right size. After several rides it was apparent that the shoe box was too narrow and was pressing on the top of my right foot. My feet are not wide but these shoes are not good for me. Perhaps if you have slender feet they’ll work.

Great upgrade from Torch 1

I have ridden with Torch 1 shoes for over two years. They are excellent shoes, but the Torch 2 is even better, It has an improved boa system and stronger heel cup. It is snugger with a more stable fit. At the sale price, it is a bargain. I couldn’t be happier with Specialized quality, both in my Specialized bike and shoes.

Nice update after 20 years...

Was a bit nervous about switching off of my 20+ yr old Sidi's, but, damn, if these shoes ain't the bomb. Huge toe box, my feet are much cooler now and I can actually flex my toes. Much lighter than the Sidi's (albeit different vintage). Works great with LOOK KEO cleats. They center nicely, and I run the float reds. Highly recommend these shoes.

Strong performer and excellent fit at price point

Quality workmanship and materials. Single BOA + Velcro are sufficient for secure fit. Comfortable, after adding 1/2 to standard US shoe size. Recommend and would/will purchase again.

Not sure what ballerina feet most people have

I have some Recon shoes from specialized in size 9 and they fit decent, so I thought ordering the same size with these road shoes would work as well. But alas, they are too narrow. My feet are exceedingly normal and not wide in any way, but these still do not fit. Length is great, but width is not. Also another annoying thing is the tongue is too long so it digs into the top of your foot. Not sure how they came to this design cause I can't imagine how that works for anyone's foot. Nice shoes otherwise and insanely stiff with the carbon soles. Definitely try on in person if possible.

Good fit. Looks nice on

Good fit. Looks nice on a leg. Yet keep in mind if you get under the rain these shoes stays wet, and don't have any ventilation on the bottom. So you'll keep cycling with all water in. Inner part of the shoes pretty hot for summer, I cycled in +25 C it was a bit uncomfortable.
