    Roll Comp X1

    2018 Roll Comp X1

Don't confuse simple with simpleminded—our Roll Comp X1 might take offence. That's because we designed it to be the hassle-free, no-fuss, no-excuses bike to help you hit your fitness goals.

It's a tall order, sure, but with its one-by gearing, you'll never have to worry about weird gearing or dropping your chain. It's just one shifter to get you where you need to go. Pretty awesome, right?

Of course, there are more tricks up the Roll's sleeve, like hydraulic disc brakes that stop on a dime in any condition, a relaxed, upright geometry that strikes the pinnacle of comfort, and wide tires that give you all the grip and stability you need to get it done.

    Safest bike you can buy

Bought one of these 5 years ago and it has been with me through fire and ice. This has to be the safest bike you can buy due to its stopping power: The combination of upright geometry, hydraulic disk breaks and thick slick tires make it stop at a dime and give plenty of confidence that it will stop when peoples opening car doors in front of you and that you will never go over the front handles when you squeeze these breaks hard. Can't imagine riding anything else in a busy city.

    Well worth the investment!!

I had a total knee replacement in May of 2017. As I was preparing for that surgery I was also putting some money away for a ""nice bike"" once my knee was ready for that kind of activity. I was looking for something that I didn't sit with so much of my body weight up over my shoulders, but would sit more up right like the old single speed or 3 speed Schwinn's of my youth. My daughter and son-in-law talked me into the Roll X1. The Shimano shifting, the hydraulic brakes are great. The wider firm seat is comfortable. The ride is wonderful on trails. I ride both paved and gravel trails with it regularly as well as some street riding around town. If there is a down side to it, that would be a couple more road gears as the main trail system around town has a nice long stretch with no stops and starts. It would be fun to see if I what kind of speed I could get up too. We bought it from Two Wheeler Dealer (now Erik's) in Sioux Falls, SD and the service from them has been equally first class.

    It's the REAL DEAL

I'm 52 years old, and at 5'9""/250lbs I'm not in the best shape of my life, but I'm getting there on the Roll X1. I am SO GLAD that I didn't cheap-out and get a bike that I knew I wouldn't ride as often, because I ride this one every day -- it's sooo smooth, comfortable, and a pleasure to be on. The seating, handlebars and overall geometry are just perfect. The bigger tires and seat soak-up the bumps with ease -- and don't let those tires fool you because they're wider, they still ""roll"" nicely -- minimal effort needed with this bike! So, if you're like me and researched the death out of bikes on the ionterent looking for that ""just right"" model, then give the Roll X1 a try. Seriously, you'll love it enough to ride every - single - day. That's what it's about right? I mean, if the bike isn't comfortable then the other stuff doesn't matter!

    Def buy again

The X1 will take you by surprise! Once you get the feel of it you will wonder why your other bikes don't move the needle for you like this one. The X1 runs like a Gazelle. Quick handling, stopping, great gearing, seat breaks in about 250 mi. and there's a quick comfort zone that keeps you wanting to ride and ride. Sounds corny right? The thing Rolls, I would recommend the X1 to anyone who wants to gain a fitness edge!

If you can have one bike its this one.

I have a road bike, mountain bike, beach cruiser and I feel like the Roll X1 replaced all of them. I actually enjoy using this bike more than any of my other bikes. I wish I had this bike along time ago. The X1 feels so solid. Its a blast to ride!!!

    Just Right!

Just the right size, the right number of gears, upright riding position and the perfect platform for fitness riding. Put a couple hundred miles on it so far and it's been great. Have had a couple of 23 mile rides at 15MPH and while it makes you work for it, the bike is rock solid.

    I love this bike

I've owed most types of bikes over the years and presently own mountain, road, hybrid, and comfort bikes, yet this bike is the only one I want to ride anymore. I'd describe it as a high end comfort bike. I love the upright seating position. The hydraulic brakes stop on a dime. The wide, smooth tires are great and make for a comfortable, relatively fast ride. I even like the seat. I had originally planned to replace the seat with a more narrow one, but I grew to like the firmness of this wider seat. I mostly ride on paved bike trails but have taken it on more rugged dirt trails with no problem.

    Amazing Bike!

This is the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. I own several bicycles, and have been riding my entire life, I'm 44 now. The best way to describe is: Mountain Bike meets BMX meets Road Bike.
