    2019 Men's RBX Bib Shorts with SWAT™

When it comes to choosing the perfect pair of bib shorts, comfort is everything. And for anyone whose rides demand premium materials, superior fit, and cutting-edge technologies, the new RBX bib shorts are sure to be your jam.

We designed an open suspender fit and bib construction that's engineered to keep the shorts up and in-place without constricting the upper body. The stretchy elastic suspenders are uber plush and soft against the skin, and accommodate taller torso lengths with ease. Silicone-infused fabric cuffs, meanwhile, provide a gentle, secure hold on the legs in order to ensure the perfect, shift-free fit.

Our new Body Geometry Contour chamois also adds unrivaled comfort by minimizing its total footprint and keeping only what's structurally necessary. This minimizes pressure on nerves and soft tissue, while also maintaining the optimal level of support.

Last, but certainly not least, the new RBX includes three SWAT™-inspired rear pockets that are engineered into the back of the bibs to house valuables, like ice cream money and keys. Each pocket has clean, bonded edges that stretch, recover, and accommodate its contents with ease.

    Small SWAT Pockets

Fit is perfect but the SWAT pockets are tiny. Good space to store keys and credit cards.

    Shoulder Slicers

Overall legging material and chamois area feels great and is comfortable. The bib straps are thin, not very soft, tend to scrunch up and apply sharp pressure over riding time along the shoulders. I wish they had a flat and wider elastic strap with no double seam, if these had straps like the Bontrager or Assos style bibs I wouldn't consider anything else.

    Excellent!!

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. He used it a few times already on 30-50 mile rides and very happy with it. He loves the the pockets on the side with enough chamois cushion and compression.

Won't ride with any other brand bib

When I first started using padded biking shorts I thought they were the best thing in the world. Then I discovered Specialized and bought my first bibs. Wow, what a difference!! Who knew that Specialized could one-up themselves with the RBX Bib Shorts with Swat? The padding sits in all the right spots for the most comfortable bibs yet!! Keep it up Specialized, you're my brand for life!!

    RBX PRO - Favorite!

Specialized, please bring back the RBX Pro with the 3 swat pockets! The straps on those are the most comfortable! Once you ride with bibs and pockets integrated on the back you won't want to go back to jersey pockets. Items like your phone don't bounce and are way more secure.

What's going on with the sizing?

I've been wearing Specialized gear for many years, RBX bibs have been my favorites!!! I'm in need of a couple, ordered one size large which I always wear. The pair I received fit like a s/m which was so, so tight on my thighs that I couldn't get them up and over. When has sizing dropped so drastically? Quality very nice, swat pockets a must, but so disappointed with the fit.

    RBX with SWAT review

After three years and countless miles on the road and on my trainer my RBX bib shorts needed replacing. The new RBX version only has one SWAT pocket at the base of the suspenders versus the four on my old pair. The leg grippers are no longer hemmed which may be more comfortable but I suspect will fray and fail well before the rest of the garment's construction. The new RBX bib shots took a page from Castelli on sizing, sized much smaller than previous garments, I am 6'1"" 190 pounds and their new XL bib shorts are much tighter fitting . The suspender straps do not lay flat, they tend to bunch up. The seat pad is a much welcome improvement and much less bulky. The bibs are much lighter and are nice looking. Hopefully they will last as long as my last pair. Paul

    Short Chamois

The chamois on the front side of mens shorts does not come up high enough, which is kind of uncomfortable. I'm almost wondering if they sent me womens shorts. Aside from that, the shorts are ok.

Bought 2 pairs and yes I would buy these again.

Would be nice if there was a 'thermal' version available. Love the SWAT veature.

Great option for all kinds of riding

I have had these bibs for a few weeks now and have been really impressed. As someone who is generally in a race cut bib, I was a bit skeptical ordering a pair of RBX bibs. The fit has been great! I'm 6', 157ish and have been very happy in the size medium. The two outer pockets on the rear of the bib are a bit smaller but have securely held everything I've packed. The middle pocket is plenty large and easily holds a phone or pump and tube, etc. I also feel comfortable using these bibs for a variety of riding styles. They are great for pairing a baggier jersey while gravel riding, having additional pockets for a long road ride where you're still using a traditional jersey, or my favorite is ""post work shreds"" on the mtb where I can carry my essentials securely against my back while ripping more aggressive trail in a trail jersey. All in all, would recommend regardless of bike or riding style.
