The TRICROSS is a do-it-all, go anywhere, anytime, workhorse. With integrated rack and fender mounts, internal cable routing, plus a shoulder friendly top tube, it’s a gridlock-busting commuter’s dream. But why stop there? The Tricross is a lightweight, durable multi-tasker that thrives on the open road—dirt, gravel, or paved—and is always hungry for pannier-packed adventures, with or without a map.
WHAT Fully-housed brake and shifter cables channeled internally rather than outside the frame.
WHY Decreases maintenance, increases durability, and improves brake and shifter functions in harsh conditions.
HOW Cables are housed from lever to component, and routed through the top and down tubes via cable housing guides brazed into the frame. This protects the cables from exposure to corrosive elements; plus changing cables is easier without having to cut housings or fit cables into the different openings.
DISC BRAKE MODELS
WHAT Four models with mechanical disc brakes and fully housed cables.
WHY Assures powerful and reliable braking and modulation in even the worst conditions, with minimal maintenance.
HOW Mechanical disc brake calipers are mounted to the seatstays and new alloy fork. Discs, calipers, and pads are easily serviceable and changeable. Fully housed cables run from lever to caliper, keeping grit, mud, and water out of housing for smooth operation and increased longevity.
NEW STEEL FRAME OPTION
WHAT Premium steel frame features the same Freeroad geometry, full fender/rack compatibility, and generous tire clearance as its alloy sibling, but also boasts double dropout eyelets and chain hanger.
WHY To create the best fitting, most versatile, and smoothest-riding steel bike for commuting and light-touring.
HOW Our engineers worked with specific diameter tubes to maximize compliance and durability while keeping that legendary steel ride quality. Doulbe eyelet on frame at the fork allows for increased usability.
A1 PREMIUM ALUMINUM FRAME
WHAT Double butted A1 Premium Aluminum Tricross frame featuring Freeroad geometry, smooth welds, full fender and rack compatibility, internal cable routing, and generous tire clearance.
WHY To create the best fitting, most versatile, and smoothest-riding bike for commuting, light touring, etc.
HOW Our engineers manipulate the frame’s tube shapes and diameters to maximize compliance and minimize weight for greater comfort and handling. Plus, the underside of the top tube is specifically shaped with a smooth, flat contour for ergonomic shouldering for stairs or hike-a-bike sections. The braze-on front derailleur mount shaves weight while increasing durability.
