Specialized Concept Store Movies Now Viewable
Web After opening 16 concept stores in 2006 and with dozens more in various stages of development in 2007, Specialized is now featuring video of its Specialized Concept Stores. Owners of the Specialized concept stores, all with decades of cycling experience, have partnered with Specialized Retail Services as a way to boost sell-through and throttle profits by creating the industry's leading retail experience. Developed as a tool to grow the overall cycling market, Specialized concept stores are innovative retail experiences that better serve core cyclists with a depth of product and range of services, while welcoming new riders with a professional, elegant, and non-intimidating environment.
"We are extremely fortunate to be working with true leaders in bicycle retail, all of whom are also incredible business people," says Specialized National Sales Manager, John Thompson. "We are creating these videos as a way to share with the world what these stores look like, how unique they are, and how we've been able to work with independent dealers to bring their vision to life. It's a way for cyclists and other dealers to hear directly from concept store owners. We are in this business together to improve the retail experience for all levels of cyclists and to bring more people into this amazing sport. All of our concept stores are a true partnership and those already in operation are thriving."
