Our new triathlon specific saddle – the Sitero
A TRIATHLON-SPECIFIC SADDLE has been on our radar for a while, and presented its own set of challenges to our development team. Put simply, triathletes sit differently to road riders on their bikes. As they get into the aero position, they shift their weight forward onto the extension of the sit bones called the Pubic Rami. A different sit zone means different pressure points, and when you’re in the aero position for hours, that’s a whole lot of soft-tissue pressure and discomfort.
